So cute and perfect
So cute and works amazing! If you live in the desert or heat, you NEED this! My car doesn’t have AC in the roof of the backseat and this has helped so much!!!! No more sweaty backs.

Perfect for summertime heat!
This is one of the best purchases for summertime! We keep it in the freezer and put it in an empty cooler in the car when we are going somewhere. Pop it in the car seat when we are out of the car and the seat is nice and cool. Especially helpful for the metal pieces of a car seat.

Worth it
One of our kids just screams when being put into a hot car seat and I can’t blame her. This has been life changing. It takes up 2-3 ice cube trays worth of space, but this is worth it. I use it for myself when I’m not driving the kids around.

Well worth it!!
We used this in our bassinet stroller while in Disney World in April & it worked wonders to keep our baby cool! Sometimes too cold with it and an octopus fan going!

Worth it for the heat
I’ve only had it for a short while and already have used it every day. In Florida, the heat can be unbearable and I didn’t like having to put my child in such a hot seat, waiting for the air to cool off the car. This truly cools in minutes. Sometimes I’ll just leave it in the seat while we are out and sometimes I’ll just pop it in about 5 minutes before we need to get in the car. Either way, it cools the car seat well. It does leave a little wet splotches here and there, but overall the quick cooling method is the only thing I’ve found to make a different in this Florida heat.

If you live in the desert, you NEED this.
Rarely would I tell someone that they need to buy a product, but this thing has been a lifesaver. You're reading this because you too have a toddler or little kid that is one breath away from melting down over the fact their car seat is a little warm. Since buying this, my daughter has not complained a single time about getting into her car seat during the middle of these Phoenix, AZ summers we're going through. Consistent 115+ deg. F temperatures outside, let alone inside the car aren't a problem anymore. As with other users, people mention that this can melt fairly quickly. Most of our trips are less than two hours, and by the time we get back into the car the cold packs are slushy, but have kept the car seat / booster seat cool. An overnight freeze makes them ready for the next day. I don't view that as an issue with the product as it's doing what it's intended to do - stave off the heat. One thing I'm contemplating doing is buying one of those mylar car seat covers to 1) help keep the sun off the seat, which would keep the pack from melting, and 2) would create another insulation barrier around the ice back, keeping the cooling effect focused on the seat instead of being lost inside the cab of the vehicle.Seriously, if you're even on the fence about buying this, just do it. Your kids and sanity will thank you later.

Amazing to beat the heat
We moved states and have summers that are 20 degrees hotter then we used to have. It was agonizing to get into our vehicle and my two littles hated getting into their car seats. I got two of these car seat ice packs and they have been a game changer. I put these in their car seats for 10 minutes before we leave home and they have a comfortable seat to get into. I bring them along on errands in a cooler bag, and when we go into the store or play at the park it is keeping their seats cool. I was envious of their cool seats while mine was on fire so a summer later I got one for my own seat! These are awesome and while expensive for an ice packs, I highly recommend them if you have hot summers

Can I give it more stars?
Seriously, if you're thinking about it, just buy this. I was on the fence. I was using ice packs and covering the carseat in a towel. I didn't want to spend money. I live somewhere that hits 117 in the summer, which means your car is like 135.This cover keeps the carseat cool whil you run errands and stays frozen for hours. I could put it over the carseat and pick my son up at daycare 2 hours later and it would be nice and cool. I forgot to take it out of the car and put it back in the freezer one night and there was still some ice in the middle in the morning. You could probably leave it on the seat while you're at work, I never tried that long.
