GOOD LITTLE MONITOR WITH LIMITATIONS
I was on the hunt for a small monitor with HDMI input to view video for Zoom services. The intent is to use a monitor only with a TV tuner for use at home. Since this was on my own budget, I went for the Tyler 10" TV that would satisfy the use as a monitor and a TV for home. I've used this monitor with a Canon VIXIA HF G50 and the Canon D60.Set-up: This is very easy. As soon as the unit is plugged in and turned on, the menu options rolled along. The are plenty of options but my main ones I'm using are TV and HDMI.Channel Capture: I live less than 2 miles from the Sutro Tower in San Francisco and in using the supplied wired antenna, I am able to capture all the stations with its sub-channels which equals to hundreds of channels. It reaches to San Jose for the NBC channels. Those with channel limitations need an amplified antenna. It is the antenna that captures the signal. The better the antenna, the better the TV station signals. You can't blame the TV for poor signal reception. I've scanned the radio signals and there are a lot of them. I don't plan on using the radio feature any time soon.Sound: Yes, the sound is tinny since the speaker is very small and it is built into a very small space. I'm connecting this to a Bose Soundlink speaker. I'm also using the Sony noise cancelling headsets. You can't adjust the tone levels but the overall sound is fine.Picture: This is okay for the price point of a portable TV. It is not an high quality HD monitor but serves my purpose for targeting video (especially for the price). The picture is clear and the color is accurate (via test pattern).Build quality: The exterior and screen is all plastic. This can be easily scratched but with careful handling and regular cleaning it will be better cared for. The stand attachment is good but really light. That's not a deal breaker. But be aware of how you are handling it since it is a fragile piece of equipment. I'm using a neoprene case to transport the TV.Battery Life: I did a battery run and it is hitting over 2 and a half hours. I imagine it can go further and have not tried to fully drain the battery. I'm intending to use this plugged in although running the battery will help its longevity.Remote control: This is small and there are a lot of buttons. The remote is full function and the controls are also mirrored with the control buttons on the TV itself. No issues here.If the limitations are not a deal breaker for you, the Tyler TV is a decent all-on-one portable TV monitor. For a professional portable video monitor for critical use, use a good monitor. But on my own budget and wanting to use this as a monitor as well as to use this at home, this is a great alternative. Have fun!

Tyler 10' 1080p portable TV all it says it is & more
Portable Tv's are not what they use to be . I am enjoying the use of my new Tyler 10" 1080P tv. It has a wonderful sharp picture & when I add my streaming stick & soundbar I have a fully functioning smart TV. I use it for nighttime viewing in my room and the convenient sleep timer makes sure it shuts off after I fall to sleep!! It comes with every thing you need as advertised to start viewing right away . It is a vast improvement over the ways portables were in the past . I use the power cord & do not need to worry about how long the charge lasts although it will come in handy this summer on my deck!! Well packaged with all the bells & whistles making the dollar value above & beyond .It was much more than I expected & the quality on all levels is superb. In all aspects it was beyond my expectations . Of course from ordering to delivery was prompt. If you are looking for a portable Tv look no farther as I would highly recommend this unit &Tyler for your next purchase. I am more than happy with the purchase and the product itself !!!

For the price it's not bad but it's not great also
So just received today.Got it all scanned and everything I've had t.VS before within Tennis. So just remember if you lose channels. It's because you move the t.V. Those antennas are very particular. But anyway back to the reviewPicture quality wow, maybe a 4 or 5 at A10I would just do this thing.I don't know how many times still not too thrilled with the quality of the PictureIt's almost like the white is glowing.I'm pretty familiar with the These? t.V's hours a tech support guy For all electronics, including TV's.And no matter what adjustments I do.It actually reduces the other adjustments.Just couldn't get it 0 again.Color quality is good Don't get me wrong. It's not terrible, but I'm very particular with my color and quality. Of pitcher adjustments and no matter how much I adjust this thing, the previous adjustment was compromised. So if you don't mind decent pictures, then this is good for you. Great price. Well, made and plenty of antennas and extras. I was able to scan forty two channels on my first try. Of course, most of them are Hispanic or news channels or religion, but I was able to get my local channels for football is needed and a few other movie channels which I'm very familiar with scanning these antennas. So I did pick up all the ones I wanted I'll play with it a few more days. But i'm kinda leaning towards returning but i'm trying not to. Sound qualities decent. I may redo the review with photos but at this moment.I'm not happy with my picture yet. The average person would probably love this tv.
