**Q: How many buttons total are included?  It says 5 kits but not how many is in each kit.**
A: What's the price? 5 sets ..5 flats and 5 circle with hardware.

**Q: How can i order the rest of what i need to make my earrings. Is this the piece to hold the fabric around the earring**
A: Earrings are usually made with  flat backs and then you purchase a pad and clutch for the earring and glue them together with e6000.

Worked perfectly. I used a fat quarter fabric to make magnets.The flat backs are perfect for attaching the magnet with glue.Item was packaged so the backs were separate from the button front, no problem with parts sticking together. No instructions but that was easily found online.
