Best makeup by far!!
āļøāļøāļøāļøāļøAs someone over 40 who has tried countless makeup brands, I can confidently say that I will never switch from this one again! This makeup is truly amazing. I purchased the starter set, which includes everything you need, and it has been a game-changer for my daily routine. I ordered the medium and then I ordered a lighter one for winter months.I can now complete my makeup in just 5 minutes! The coverage is fantastic, yet it's so lightweight that I hardly feel like I'm wearing any makeup at all. I live at the beach so humidity, and heat is a daily thing for me and this makeup lasts all day and doesn't run at all. If you're looking for a reliable and effortless makeup solution, I highly recommend this brand. It's worth every penny!

WOW. JUST WOW. 4.5 out of 5; minus a little for no color/shade samples
I'm almost 60/F, some wrinkles and a fair amount of discoloration, red spots, and sun damage, esp. on cheeks. This foundation (baked balance and brighten, color FAIR) is really easy to use. Feels like nothing, even when building. I used only basic, soft, fluffy brushes I had on hand; they worked well for light coverage, but I do think a denser brush option - like a retracting kabuki, as recommended - might work better for building.Very good coverage on bare skin (moisturizar only), pracrically perfect over an inexpensive primer. Almost all my flaws disappeared, even without concealer.Did not settle in wrinkles, either. I FEEL PRET-TY, OH-SO PRET-TY!...or, at least, "not bad for an old broad, not at all!".I do find that using primer is better over large pores and significant discoloration, such as have I. I used a budget brand with spf 30 and the foundation went on perfectly. It's FAST, too. The longest part if the process is waiting for the primer to dry, maybe 1-3 minutes.Found it difficult to shade match - but to be fair: When is it *not* difficult?Would be a very nice thing if Laura Geller Beauty offered an inexpensive "sampler" (say, $5.00 for just enough product for 1/2 face in two adjacent shades) to help in this process.I tried "PORCELAIN" first, but it was just a tad too light. The model wearing "FAIR" looks like an olive tone to me, whereas (I think?) I'm more peachy, like the "LIGHT" model - but I'm super pale...but ... but.. hem ..haw..Seems really wasteful to open, use once and return a full product to try a color that isn't quite right, as I have. "Samplers" would really help reduce the volume of product returns, not to mention reduce waste and carbon footprints - just sayin'.Step up,šLaura Geller. Make the planet as beautiful as you have me!

Good color match
Looking closely at the composition of the color options, I chose the lightest shade available (Porcelain), as it had rosy undertones that made it more compatible with my skin. When I first used the product, I was happy to see that I was not mistaken! This powder foundation provides subtle coverage that looks very natural. In terms of build-up, I have applied a second coat only in small problem areas (irritation caused by seborrheic dermatitis), and it did a decent job of hiding most of the rednessāI now realize fully eliminating it would require a different kind of product. I don't have dark spots, so I'm unsure how well the Porcelain shade would work in hiding them. This foundation has excellent staying power, and, as many have noted before, it doesn't enhance the fine lines on your face. In my experience, a gentle gel cleanser or even a cleansing face wipe is enough to remove the foundation.

Did Not Settle into My Marionette Ravines
I donāt wear foundation often, but thatās partly because every foundation Iāve tried for the past five years settled into my āmuch more than fineā lines. (Think the marionette lines on an actual marionette.) This one did not. Did NOT! Granted, Iāve had it for only a few days, but today I put it on and ran out the door into a wall of humidity, then walked three miles at the gym. Came home, checked the mirror and no settling. None. For what itās worth, I have oily skin despite being almost as old as dirt and always wear Rimmell Stay Matte primer whether Iām wearing foundation or not. I do think the primer helped, but trust me, no settling into my marionette ravines was kind of a miracle. The coverage is light, but that works for me. All things considered, Iām very pleased.
