Monitor is beautiful, sharp, and big enough for two apps side by side. Not quite 4K, I think, but It looks as good as my iMac 27" on the side. For the price, how could I care.This being the renewed model, I was a bit concerned, but those concerns went away as soon as I unpacked this beauty from its equally impressive shipping box. I can't tell this thing is not brand new. I paired it with an 8 core Mac Pro cylinder with a SSD and 64 MB of RAM. They both look and work amazing together. I've been working and playing with this setup for two days, and I can't seem able to pull out of my chair; even bringing my food to the desk so I can keep working and playing with my new toys. Very happy and pleased so far.

Very bright and sharp. Had the older version of this and this is much better. If you get the right price ..buy.

Love the wide gamut. Hate that the viewing angles are not as wide as advertised. There is a bit of a "tunnel" effect this is more pronounced the closer to the monitor you are. The color (brightness, actually) shifts very noticeably depending on where you are sitting.

Loved the monitor for about 11 months then all of a sudden one day it just goes black. Restarting it, unplugging-replugging it, nothing. Can even produce the on-screen menu or see a logo when it boots up.Communication with Philips indicated they could do a full replacement but that it could take OVER 2 MONTHS to get a replacement. Who says I want a replacement if your product is just going to die out of nowhere. Looks like I'll be buying a new monitor from anybody BUT Philips.

One of the best, inexpensive monitors in this price range. Honestly can't even think of anything better!
