Color code and organize your baby chicks
These are easy to use. We put them over a chick's Little Foot and it will help keep track of the chick until they're big enough to have a more permanent marker. This is super important because we can tell the male and female chicks apart from about one day old, and that ability will be lost until they're 4 weeks to up to 6 months old. When they start crowing or laying eggs. So the marker also helps keep different breeds of chicks apart so we remember what they are. I like the colors and hope they will make even more in one bag. By the way more color coding can happen if you use two bands and note that in the chick's notes.
