My flowbee is about 20 years old and still works like new, I bought the mini vac. The hose does not fit, so if anyone knows of a adapter I might buy that will work, please share!

I’ve owned a Flowbee since 2013. That was the last time I saw the inside of a hair salon. Initially I tried attaching the Flowbee to my upright household vacuum. Eventually I ordered a 2.5 gallon shop vac with 2.5 peak HP which I kept in my bathroom closet and dedicated solely to my haircuts. Perfect!But then I saw this Flowbee vac, which is about half the size of my shop vac and needs no adapter.I used it for the first time today. I love the fact that it’s small and fits on a shelf, freeing up some floor space. I love the fact that I can see the hair inside the collector. Some reviewers mentioned that it was noisy. But it’s not as noisy as my shop vac.Things I don’t love: I would empty this after every haircut. Otherwise, I would worry that the filter might get clogged and be less powerful. In order to empty it I had to struggle to remove the hose which fits very snuggly. I had to pull out my stick vac to vacuum the collector and filter. It also took some finagling to reassemble.Cutting my hair with my shop vac attached only required me to empty it once or twice a year. Additionally, my shop vac was much cheaper.The facts ma’am, just the facts.
