IMAGerman WWII M43 Cap in Field Grey Wool- Size

This cap arrived as it appears in the advertisement, and was the right color, right fit, and right style! I was looking specifically for a traditionally correct and authentic Jager (alpine) cap without markings of any kind and I wasn’t disappointed! Highly recommended for the discriminating buyer. Update: now that winter is here, I can attest this cap is wonderfully warm, (even when wet!) blocks the wind, and have gotten compliments from hunting buddies and co-workers alike.

This is the third hat I bought from this company I love them they are perfect the fit is great and it is true to 1940 to 45 and I put the correct badges on the Hat and it looks really sweet along with my uniforms and jackets the quality is top-notch I just can't say enough about this hat it is fantastic

Unit is somewhat smaller in size than I expected- I ordered a Large, and I have a slightly smaller head than usual, I was worried that it would be too large- quite the opposite- it is really snug.. almost too tight. It is also a little darker in color than the example. Overall its what you would expect for the price. The example is perfectly molded , mine is somewhat 'frumpy". For reference, my head circumference is 23" measured at forehead, so if yours is greater, then order a size up from "Large". Shipped pretty fast from the source using USPS.

Quality hat

It's a toned-down version of the higher forward peaked German military hat. It's very comfortable, warm, and there's a hood of sorts that pulls down from the outside that really adds warmth and wind protection in winter weather. I only wish it had a flatter top; other than that it's my favorite winter hat. Being 80% wool really makes a difference.
