CI comment about barrel/shank length is correct
These are good rivets and work great for my project. The length of the barrel is stated as 1/2" but new rivets will have 3/4" long barrels. This is explained in CI comment about grip length vs measured length. In other words, although the new rivets measure 3/4" barrels, they measure only 1/2" length after installation. Hope this helps someone.NOTE: the shaft is 1/8" diameter and does not work with many common rivet tools (hand tool type). Check yours before buying.

Size on the package was correct, but the actual pop rivets were a different size.Unable to use and can’t return them.

Long rivets
Rivets were a perfect length. Very strong and i used them to attach a dry well in my kayak that I bought from Amazon.

Know how to order
For past comments about the package rivet size and the actual rivet size being different, note that rivets are ordered by grip length vice measured length, e.g. the rivet barrel is 1/8" shorter in length for 1/8" rivets. Fastenere customer service was great in replacing my order, even though my ordering error.
