Ordered this as could not get burnt sugar I would normally buy or order from abroad. This gives a nice flavour and colour to my fruit cakes and is good value for money.

Bought this product in October as planned to make a Xmas cake as it was recommended as an alternative to the gravy browning I normally use. To be honest I did not check the best before date at the time of delivery. But today now when I want to use it I notice the best before date is December 2020. This means I will use a very small amount to make three cakes and rest of 340g jar will go to waste....and it wasn't cheap either. Very disappointed with myself for not noticing at the time and to supplier for sending me a product which has very limited use so close to BB date

Great. Makes baking so much quicker less pans to wash but proof of flavour has to be delayed until Christmas
