Effective and sweet taste!
I started taking Elderberry a few years ago typically during the actual winter season. I’ve tried several competitors but found this one to be more potent than competitors and the taste is sweet. I’m starting it earlier this year and have it on subscription for 5 weeks since both my husband and I both take it. No colds/flu for this season! I also compete in an endurance running event early January - so I don’t want to catch the Dopey flu. So far, each time I’ve taken this, I’ve avoided that!

Easy to add to anything!
I love this supplement! It's not too watery so you can get the right amount in the vial and easily add it to water. I use it daily to up my immune system.

I Trust Mary Ruth's
Being a classical singer, who's on stage almost every evening, it's really important for me to avoid any kind of illness. Plus, being ill just feels so darn awful. I used to rely on vitamin C and zinc, plus my daily probiotics to help strengthen my immune system, and I still take those vitamins daily. However, lately I've been hearing so many good things about elderberry, so I decided to give it a try.I've always trusted Mary Ruth's (I won't take gummies, though, I wish Mary Ruth would make sublinguals), so that's the elderberry brand I chose. When it comes to supplements, I always take liquids, sublinguals, or non-gummy chewables. So much more actually gets into the system than with tablets or capsules, and I find it difficult to swallow large pills.I love the fact that this elderberry supplement is organic, non-GMO, and vegan. I love the fact that it's cruelty-free and manufactured right here in the USA. The only thing I don't love is the fact that the dropper doesn't contain a pre-measured dose. One dropper-full is about 15 drops, and an adult dose is 30 drops, once a day. The company recommends actually counting out the drops, so that's what I do. We can never be too careful with our health. I would take it straight from the dropper, since it tastes like blueberries, and I absolutely love blueberries, but since I'm counting out the drops, I do take it with a little water, every evening. If you don't want to bother with the water, be assured, this tastes fine as it is, as long as you like blueberries. There's nothing at all medicinal tasting about this supplement. I think children, even babies, would like the taste and take it with no problems. It would also be excellent for the elderly, whose immune systems can run low and who often struggle with tablets. In addition to boosting the immune system, elderberry is said to benefit the heart. I like that. Heart problems do not run in my family at all, but there's no harm in being a little pro-active now and then. And, although I live in sunny Southern California, I travel a lot for work, more often than not, to places that are very cold during the winter. Cold air affects my ears in a very negative way. While I don't get earaches, ever, my ears seem very sensitive to the cold, and they get that "closed" feeling some of us get when in a plane that's landing. Not good for a singer. This elderberry supplement has not only kept me healthy, it's eliminated the inflammation and sensitivity in my ears as well. It's desensitized them, so to speak, so I can travel to cold places and still be comfortable.I would definitely recommend this supplement to anyone who is susceptible to colds or flu, and, in addition, to anyone who simply wants to strengthen his or her immune system and remain healthy. There really are no negatives as far as this elderberry supplement is concerned.
