Paul MitchellShampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo, Deep Cleanses + Removes Buildup, For All Hair Types, Especially Oily Hair

At 37 years old, for some reason my hair suddenly became extremely oily. I'm talking embarrassingly oily after only skipping one day of wash. I was super self conscious about it. My mother gave me something that she just so happened to have on hand and it worked super great. Unfortunately they stopped making it so I had to look for something else. I searched Amazon and I know growing up from my parents using it that Paul Mitchell is good. This has worked wonders. I am back to every 2-3 day washes. My hair feels lighter, shiny, and has great volume. I have super thick wavy hair and I am very pleased. The quality is great. There is a barely there almost lemon smell. The value isn't so bad and I consider myself a cheap-o but it was affordable for me especially when I caught it on sale. The value for the money is excellent. My hair is long so I have to use a good bit. Super easy to rinse out..sudsy but not overkill sudsy.

This is my first choice in shampoos to remove the build up in my hair. I use it about twice a week on average. My hair tends to run on the greasy, wavy, side so I use a lot of dry shampoo. It does have a light scent but practically smells fragrance free. It leaves my hair feeling thicker, less greasy, and with more volume. The one thing about that is it does make it harder to comb through after the shower but it does the job without drying the hair out too much. It lasts me for at least 3 months if I use it 2-3 times per week with this size bottle so even though it seems pricey for one bottle of shampoo, it lasts a long time because it isn’t meant for everyday use. I would recommend it.

My scalp is so oily the president should pay me to extract some oil for their reserves.This shampoo not only smells great but washes out all the dirt and oils very quickly. I've used alot of shampoos and some take forever to wash out. Not to mention my scalp smells like skunk juice couple hours after washing.Fear not, this shampoo improves the smell of your scalp over time. It is slightly more expensive but if you dont want your significant other to be thrown off in that special moment by your nasty scalp smell. You better start using this shampoo!

My husband prefers a clarifying shampoo, and for a while it seemed like all of the drugstore options vanished from the market.After a certain point, we decided that sinking more time into the hunt for a drugstore replacement for what he had been using (since discontinued) wasn't worth it and gave this a shot.It cleans thick hair well and helps him avoid greasiness even with an every-other-day shampoo routine. The light citrus fragrance is pleasant and unisex. The large bottle is convenient and will last him over a year (even with me dipping into it to clarify once a month or so).Despite those positive qualities, it doesn't seem to do anything unique or special that he wasn't getting from a drugstore option. We like it, and will repurchase if we can't find similar performance in a more accessible price-point, but it isn't quite a "holy grail" tier product.

Works well. Deep cleans hair and has a very pleasant citrus scent.

I have used expensive Clarifying shampoos that cost double this one and they did not have the affect of this one by any means. I use product on my hair every single day, and I live in an area that has hard water, so my scalp always felt dry and dirty no matter which shampoo I used. A friend of mine who does hair for a living recommended this one and told me to only use it twice a week with a scalp scrubber. And I have to say that the quality of this shampoo is amazing. I've used others that left my hair feeling stripped of nutrients, and this one leaves my hair so soft, completely left my scalp feeling clean and helped with the itchiness I would get at times and had also left my hair looking darker and fuller. The ease of use was so simple, use like any other shampoo, use the scrubber, leave on your scalp for a few minutes and wash off and that's it. I love that it's sulfate free, you can't go wrong with this one, you will notice a major difference after consistent use for sure

this shampoo is the best!! i use this once a week. for someone with colored hair (black) this doesn’t fade my hair! it smells sooooo good too, like a lemony dream. i love to use it twice, seems the second time it really gets in there and suds. great price, & doesn’t leave my hair greasy.

Works great. Hair feels cleaner and has more shine.
