The SNAPP Screen extruded PVC screening extrusion is a high-quality screening product used for installing insect screen and other materials into porches, patios, decks, and a wide range of other specialized screening applications. PVC SNAPP Screen is UV stable and resistant to salt and other corrosive environments. A perfect choice for coastal applications or direct pressure treated installations. PVC SNAPP Screen is also flexible, making it great for arches, circles, and other curved installations. (use of a heat gun or relief cuts may be required based upon installation conditions) SNAPP Screen is designed to be adaptable to a wide spectrum of situations and will work with almost any shape or size opening. The SNAPP Screen extrusion can be mounted on the interior or exterior of the opening, inside or around the opening and with miter or butt corners. Simply cut the SNAPP Screen extrusion to size and mount in place. SNAPP Screen is a zero-waste product … extrusions can be simply butted together. SNAPP Screen can be installed to any base material or prefabricated frame by fastening with screws or other appropriate hardware. Hardware is placed within 1" of each end and then no more than 12" apart thereafter. PVC SNAPP Screen can be used alone or in combination with color matched ALUMINUM SNAPP Screen. Install SNAPP Screen Polyester Screen Material (or any standard fabric screen materials) using SNAPP Screen spline and SNAPP Screen Spline Installation Tool. Plastic Not The Best For Long Runs
When you tighten the screen the plastic frame pulls away from the wall where there aren't any screws. It needs to be attached every 4 - 6 inches. Installed over 200 feet, that's around 450 screws. Should have used the aluminum.
