I’d never heard of pregnenolone until I became a patient of an Age Management specialist. Pregnenolone is a part of a supplement regimen he prescribed. As my blood work was reviewed at each visit, he eventually adjusted my dosage to the 100 mg level. Nutricology was one of the few manufacturers that could provide this in a single pill. Long story short, not only was my doctor happy with what he was seeing (DHEA and testosterone levels, I think), I was feeling better with no ill effects. I sleep better and feel better, too. Since I was experiencing this positive outcome with THIS manufacturer of THIS supplement, it’s the only thing I’ll buy. If it ain’t broke... don’t fix it!

Nice to find the good strong dose (it's a good deal, too). Yes, this is a high dose! But not everybody agrees with Dr. Hertogue about low doses (for example, Dr. Uzzi Reiss, who says up to several hundred mg can be okay for some people). In any case, dosing is very individual (are you 50 years old, or 70? Hypopituitary/Addisons, or just normal aging? etc.), so hopefully you're working with a doctor who tests your levels or is paying attention to symptoms. I decided to write this review because it's for the actual PRODUCT, which is good quality (I've had good luck with Nutricology, except ONCE when one 10 mg DHEA showed up in the bottle of 25's), not about the pros and cons of pregnenolone as a concept.

I got bad reaction . Never take another chance , maybe smallest doses ... , but not 100 mg !

I just started taking this product and I have not noticed any change in my hot flashes, not in this month, anyway...

My wife takes these, no adverse effects, we just re-ordered

China manufactured and synthetic called the company verified it true.Enough said.
