90W AC Power Adapter/Battery Charger for Samsung RV511 series

I had trouble with the original power cable. Samsung support told me I would have send my laptop in to be fixed, and it would not be covered by the terrible warranty that ran out days after I bought the PC. I bought this charger as a last chance, and it works great. Stupid Samsung.One tip: sometimes the green light on the adapter comes on, but no power goes to the computer. Make sure the two parts on the cable are fully connected, and it should work.

So far this charger has been great! I read other reviews before buying and a couple had bad reviews but there were many that rated it good so I ordered it and I think the most important thing to do is to follow the instructions to charge to full capacity before using the first time and to charge fully and drain fully the first two times. I think that could make a major difference.

It is doing a great job keeping my Samsung RV511 running. No notable heat issues on the brick. Only think i will mention is that I miss is that my old brick had a long enough Velcro strap to reach around both cables and the brick and still hold well, but honestly I'm usually to lazy to do that anyways.UPDATE: knocked off two stars because it is already dying after about 4 months.... It still charges, but with some wiggling.... Probably wont last long and I'll have to find a third charger..... I use ellipsis way too much....

The charger I received was not correct for my Samsung RV511-A01 laptop. The Amps rating on the unit must match the laptop label rating exactly. I had to return mine which was 4.64 vs 3.16 amps required for my laptop. This could cause overheating or damage.

We had a problem with the power supply after about a month and was replaced under warranty. Seller was easy to comunicate with and got us a new charger quickly. Teh new one has been working fine for the last couple of months.

This charger last less than a year. I was extremely careful with it and now it's stopped working. I have to wiggle it a million different ways for it to kind of charge my computer.

It works just as well as those $70 chargers- I'm thinking about buying another just so I have one for travel and one that can stay home. Great charger! Great price!
