Light & affordable
These are terrific if you don't need anything fancy and are traveling. I wanted something to easily fit in a small suitcase & that I wouldn't be out a ton of money if the airline lost my bag. (They did for 2 days). As with all new gear; practice setting up/taking down & test out well before your trip to do something else if they don't work out. They aren't as substantial as the C**tco ones nor my L*ki poles, but held up on steep trails in Hawaii when I needed some balance and support. If you can set up a pop up sun canopy, they are easy to put together ( they have a metal push button). That said, they are light, 3 pieces, and rely on that locking button, so if doing difficult trails, you may need more substantial, pricier ones.

Good quality for occassional hiker
These are my first trekking poles. I have used them on two medium length, easy difficulty, day hikes. They work well. They are easy to unfold, adjust, and don't slip or collapse when you put a lot of weight on them. They fold up quickly and don't take up much room. They seem light and easy to use. (When I am using them, I am not thinking about their weight.)I'm now 70 years old and have friends who have fallen and been injured in ways that make life miserable for them. I feel like I am still in pretty good health, but these definitely do help prevent sliding and slipping on slopes or when going downhill on a wet trail. So I feel more secure when I am using them.I bought these based on reviews that suggest that they are good "middle range" choice. The quality is better than the cheapest poles and good enough for an occasional hiker like me. I didn't want to buy $200 poles since I won't be doing the Appalachian trail next year.I feel I got a quality product at a moderate price. I'm happy.

Great poles at a great price.
These poles appear to be very solid. I was initially hesitant because of the reports of them being heavy. Not a problem. Maybe for elite long distance or speed trekkers, but for casual & sub 5 mile hikes, they are great. I have high end shock absorbing poles, but they don't break down for travel. These do, to a very manageable length. Which brings me to the only gripe I have about this product. The storage bag. When the poles are collapsed completely, they fit in the bag. If they are adjusted to your desired length, they stick out of the bag! Wake up Trekology! I am really pleased with these poles & am amazed that they are so inexpensive.

Perfect recommendation
Really nice sturdy light weight walking poles. Easily adjust to height needed. Open and close quickly. Came with bag but don’t use the bag. Different feet for different surfaces. Handles are comfortable. People call these hiking poles but using by recommended by Dr and PT. Graduated from walker and cane is one sided. Walking poles help with balance and posture. Can walk in uneven terrain like grass.

Complicated to Setup First Time... but Work Great!
Even for someone like me who's quite mechanically apt, and who has a knack for being able to figure things out...The specific details about the way these poles collapse and expand escaped me until I watched a video about it.I do HIGHLY ADVISE you to watch a video about how they expand and collapse. I decided not to make my own video because there are some very good ones already available here.But... once you get the poles expanded and adjusted precisely for your particular size and use... They work phenomenally well!Even being such thin poles (quite a bit thinner than many others) they still are sturdy and stable on the path, and operate dependably and seamlessly just trekking along in the woods or even on a neighborhood sidewalk (in which case, the're not clunky or loud... they're very quiet with a soft touch on the ground and in the hand. The cork grips and adjustable hand straps are very comfortable while walking or hiking...All in all as I said, they're definitely a bit complicated to setup that first time, but once you get the hang of it, you'll have them torn down or wrapped up again within a minute or two! Easy, Quick, Dependable!Excellent Poles!

Sturdy, lightweight and fits comfortably in a day pack
The media could not be loaded. I have researched lots of hiking poles and these are what I concluded would be best for my hubs and I for upcoming trip to Alaska and trekking on many beautiful trails there, as well as using at home. They are aluminum, weigh about 11oz, when collapsed they measure 15" to fit inside my daypack, have multiple attachments to get you through all types of trails. They break apart into 3 sections and have Velcro strip to secure them when packing in nylon bag provided. They are adjustable for height and wrist. They come in either cork or EVA hand grip and also come in two sizes based on your height which is nice and not one size fits all. They go together in seconds and are very sturdy and strong when I put all of my weight on them they do not budge. Give them a try

Great Hiking Poles
The media could not be loaded. Just climbed Mount Marcy in the Adirondacks (5300ft summit) with these poles, they were a life saver.I'm not a small guy and these held up fantastic on an 11 hour mountain climb, didn't buckle or slide from the hight adjustment. The saved stress on my knees and legs is well worth the cost and the cork handles are comfortable. I expect these to last many more hikes.A little wear and tear (of course), plus the mud guard would come unscrewed from time to time, but nothing crazy. Weight is manageable, and for the reliability of these worth it.

Good solid product. Easy to assemble and disassemble.
This is a nice product. The sticks click together well and give you a feeling of confidence. I was able to assemble and disassemble them easily, and pack them disassembled in my suitcase. The only disappointment is that the straps on the handles is not padded. I would have liked that. I don't know that i will use all the tips, but it is nice to have them.
