Keeps battery at 100%. No need to recharge it.
Even though it seemed easy to install I got an electrician to do the job. I just wanted to take the hassle out of unscrewing the whole Ring Generation 2 doorbell since the battery unfortunately is UNREMOVEABLE on the Generation 2 Doorbell which means removing the whole unit out to charge via a USB instead of removing just the battery which would have been more convenient. Why Ring did that only they can tell. However, this adapter came to the rescue. The price was just right and it works perfectly. Battery is always at 100% and if I want to remove the adapter to plug another appliance in since we only have one socket we can do so without worrying that the battery will get depleted. Now that it's hard wired I should hopefully have no problem with the battery. The adapter just plugs into the socket and the other two ends connected to the battery. Should be easy for those who know a bit about electronics or DIY unlike myself.

Ring wired doorbell PSU
I purchased this power supply unit for my Ring wired doorbell. It was supplied with a surprisingly long length of cable which was more than enough to run from the nearest 13A socket to the Ring bell. It was easy to run through mini cable trunking to hide the wiring and works well. Note for Ring doorbell it is a AC output, if you have a bell requiring DC you will require to fit a diode. I am satisfied with this product.

Works just fine though it does buzz a little.
Bought to use with a Eufy dual camera doorbell as the battery was draining way to quickly and this holds it up just fine. It has a nice long cable which is quite thin and easy to conceal easing installation, not much more to it really just plug and play.As others have stated it does buzz a little so I have knocked off one star for that as it may bother you depending on where you want to install it and if you are sensitive to that sort of thing.Very good value for money and performs as expected so far.

Does what it say it will do
I can't really say much about this product. it does what it say it will do and supplies the Rind doorbell with the power it needs. So i can't fault the item. how the rind doorbell deals with it is another issue. The Ring doorbell uses the power in a very odd way. At first I thought the power supply want working so we tested it with a meter and it correctly supplies the ring doorbell. The Ring doorbell ran flat a couple of times and that was high usage of the battery and the fact that it only trickle charges the battery and does not run the doorbell from the power. Therefore if the power it takes is greater than is being put into the battery the battery goes flat. This isn't the power supply its the ring doorbell

Very noisy
The media could not be loaded. Makes a really loud buzzing noise. Unusable and possibly dangerous.

A decent transformer at a decent price
I did not buy this to use with my Ring doorbell, I simply wanted a 24V AC transformer for something else. It has a very long output cable on it, so if you were using for your Ring system, it would be perfect. I measured it as giving about 30V AC output under no load, which would be expected. With a small load attached, the output was nearer 25V AC. All in all, happy with this.

perfect for Ring Doorbell Pro
We didn't have an existing wired in doorbell to wire the Ring Doorbell Pro into. I'm sure if you're an electrician the instructions are clear but it seems an unnecessarily complicated matter piggybacking on existing systems. I brought this 24v transformer, attached the 2 wires to the Ring Doorbell Pro terminals, plugged it in a standard socket and it worked. Couldn't be easier. The length of the cable from the transformer was very long, far longer than I needed, so it was simply cut to length. So you lose a plug socket, but this was by far the easiest way to connect the Ring doorbell. Had it for just under a month at the time of writing. No issues whatsoever.
