My honest opinion of this product
Very good options for the price but not very high quality in over all. It seems like it will break easily if dropped or if baby gets ahold of it. If you don't want or can not spend 200 + dollars for a monitor but want something better than one with just sound, than this is ok. It has some cool options like talk back to baby (this is kinda funny because baby gets confused about the fact they hear u but they do not know where u are) my daughter quit crying and settled down because, she did not quite know what to think about this . The picture quality is decent. It does not last very long off of the charger like it claims so, I recommend leaving it plugged in overnight. I orderd a new one and than sent the first one back for this reason, in case it was just that particular one, but the new one was the same. I could not go without one so I kept it. The sound gets louder or softer randomly if it is a little farther away than normal and the music is a little off .... if it is cheaper, there is usually a reason.... this one is no exception.... I give it 3 stars because 1*Price 2*same options of higher priced monitor(but lower in quality of these options) 3*Amazon was helpful when I needed to excange it ...... I know this is a long review but I feel buying a baby safety item is important and costly so I wanted to add extra information than usual .

The battery doesn't last as long as I would like though for the receiver
I don;t understand why some parents spend hundreds on video monitors. This one does the job. While the picture quality is not nearly as vivid as the product description shows, it's quite clear for the price. The sound has a small lag, which is expected for video recording equipment. I'm able to speak to my LO through the monitor. The monitor shows temperature and even changes lighting throughout the day. Yes, it even has night vision. The battery doesn't last as long as I would like though for the receiver. And the camera feeding the images needs to be plugged in at all times to work.I will say that these Christmas jingles are NOT lullabies. Luckily, I like Christmas music no matter what time of year. I just don't understand who thought to upload Christmas songs to soothe a baby...

Good camera but poor quality!
I purchased this monitor because it was much cheaper than other model on Amazon. It is extreme lightweight and tips over very easy. Also there is no way to adjust the camera so you have to find a spot that gives you the best view possible. The camera was pretty easily to use once you figured it out. The camera itself has a sharp picture which is nice but the lullabies are Instrumental Christmas carols which seems pretty weird to hear playing after the holiday season. The unit is light plastic so I am not sure how long it will last. But I guess you get what you pay for. This is for my grandson's room for when he sleeps over occasionally. If using on a daily basis then I would purchase s better monitor than this.

Wish I had this YEARS ago!
This is a great product! It has a lot of features that many of the other comparable video monitors don't have (lullabies, ambient room temp, feeding alarm, talk back and vox just to name a few). The video quality is really good for the price, it isn't choppy or slow, it is quite smooth whether it's on night mode or normal mode. The sound quality is crisp and clear, no static at all, and one of the best features is the extended battery life while using vox. With vox, battery lasted 16-20 hours and with vox turned off it lasted about 5 hours which is an A+ by any standard. The range is also a plus at about 800 feet so you can roam around outside while baby sleeps. All in all I would definitely recommend this monitor if you are looking for something that won't break the bank but also has some fun bells and whistles to play with. Worth the money!

Did the other reviewers get a different product than I?
The beauty of Amazon is that if there is an item with glowing reviews - they make it very easy to see if there is any truth to what people are posting. This is one of those cases where that validity comes in to question. Here is what I don't know:Who in their right mind would pay more than $30 (if that) for this device. What their definition of "Full Color" is. (see below)Here is what I do know:The device is made of what feels like cheap plastic. All "8 Remote Control Lullabies" sound like Jingle Bells (yes, there is only one available)The temperature sensor reports at least 8 degrees higher than the room. The grainy picture quality in "night vision mode" was expected. Sadly, so was the quality in daylight. There is no way to navigate the menu screens in silent mode (a beep for each button press). The firmware on the device was updated as of Jan 2015.The devices are powered by a MicroUSB power adapter.Same device listed multiple times:http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R046OO0http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q6LEAOEConclusion:This would be a great gift for a kid, but no one seriously in the market for a baby monitor. It's going back.

Great Camera for the Price
Really great baby monitor. It's loud enough to hear the baby from the other room, and wakes us up when she needs us. The only complaint we have is that you cannot move the camera from the monitor. Otherwise, it's a great product and gets the job done for the price we paid. It's relatively cheaper than other monitors, but has a lot of functions to help view her and put my wife's mind at rest.

GOOD VALUE among all the Baby Monitors we researched
This monitor is a terrific value at under $100. Easy to set up and gives clear images and sound. The only downside is the unclear instructions and the volume control leaves a lot to be desired. If playing music for baby in the next room YOUR volume on the parent monitor is TOO LOUD.
