Core Balance Disc Trainer, 14” Diameter with Pump for Improving Posture, Fitness, Stability

As a parent of three young children—two of whom are neurodivergent—I’ve tried several balance discs to support sensory regulation and posture improvement, and the ProsourceFit Core Balance Disc is one of the 2 brands that I think have comparable quality that I purchased from Amazon. The quality is excellent—the material is sturdy and well-made, and it holds up really well to daily use. I appreciate that it comes with a pump and is easy to inflate and adjust based on how firm or wobbly we need it to be. My kids use it for sensory input and to help with focus during seated activities. My youngest also uses it with her physical therapist to improve core strength and muscle tone. It’s been especially helpful for posture and sensory regulation. I also love using this disc for my own home workouts—it's great for balance training, core exercises, and even as a seat cushion to encourage better posture while working. Highly recommend this for families looking for functional, versatile tools that support both kids and adults in staying active and regulated!

My child uses this product at physical therapy to help with muscle tone, balance, stability, and gravitational issues. I saw that this seller had several colors for $20 or less, and decided it would also be great for providing him with proprioceptive input at home for his sensory seeking needs. He stands on it during chest level learning activities, sometimes when eating or reading, and he sits on it to read or play with toys on the floor. I have also started using it to increase my own balance and core strength. This item will challenge your body for sure! Expect to feel it in your hips and thighs, and understand that yoga on it is more advanced! I honestly can not think of many $20 fitness items that provide this variety of balance, strengthening, and sensory benefits... but it is difficult so definitely check with your physical therapist and/or physician to decide if it is right for you. Easy to inflate, easy to figure out how to use. Probably some of the best $20 I have spent on an item that literally everyone in my family is using.

I use this for dog gymnastics as a challenge to the dogs for balance and to keep them mentally active to balance on it. I have 2 medium size dogs and it works well for them, but if I had to use it for myself it would be too small for me to balance on. It is well made, the pump works well and I like that it has 2 different textures I can use for them to balance on.

This is still inflated & works good. I have it on my work desk chair. I thought for a minute, wait, this can't be, why won't it inflate, how can it already have a hole in it & I retraced everything I had done when I pulled it out @ my work desk-in an office -with no pointy things. The hole is a very clean, very tiny very round hole & it can only have happened probably via the little metal inflator that is supplied & I still to this day think I got one that was returned(due to it being punctured) & was put back 'on the shelf'. But, I decided to spend more $ & buy a bike tire patch & it has worked great ever since.

This pillow is particularly good when sitting at a computer. It allows me to move my spine as I sit. So much better than being locked in a postural slump. I also like being boosted a couple of inches taller, which helps with the angle of my hands on a keyboard. It is important to inflate it comfortably, it isn’t good with too much air. 👍👍

Nice quality.

I was advised by my dr. to purchase a balance disk to sit on when I drive to avoid hip pain but this was too narrow for a bucket driver’s seat. It sank down and my rear end was over the sides. I wear small pants so it’s not a matter of a large butt. Would advise finding a wider one to use in this way.

Just what I was looking for to help my third grader sit for longer periods of time but still be able to concentrate and stay on task. Great for fidgeting without getting up and losing focus.
