It does its job

Had my handyman remove the ancient one and after installing the new one it was not fitting right and buttons would stick. Had to mess with it and still has trouble. Will need to have him come again and adjust it. Argh

These are difficult to find in local hardware stores so I turned to Amazon and thankfully I found it. My old one consisted of 4 sectional plates which left gaps between switches and the outlet. Having little ones at home made this unacceptable as they like to stick whatever they find into every crack and crevice they find. If you've ever used a Leviton plate, it's the same style as the Decora Unbreakable Nylon Wallpate. In the big box stores they have that red "Preferred" marking on the packages. They flex (in a good way) when installed so it conforms to the wall and seals up the gaps nicely. This is very important given the size of the opening it covers. The actual dimension run 8 1/4" long and 4 1/2" tall. The color of the plate is white as well, despite the photo. The -W in the Model number indicates the color on Leviton plates. If you need one of these look no further.

This works great for my quad electric switch box where I needed one decora style slot and 3 toggle switch slots. Installs with the normal plate screws (all included).
