Spark Nano Real-time GPS Tracking Device

Shipping was VERY fast however the product might not be the plug-and-play that you're hoping for. While the GPS unit is small and compact as advertised, the actual software for tracking it and viewing it is an additional $29.95 monthly monitoring fee PLUS an additional $59.95 activation fee...so much for the low cost of the unit.Just beware that when buying a GPS Unit, be sure that the tracking software is part of the unit and initial price that you're paying for.Not a very happy customer.

11/2/2011This product is junk that cost $200. For $19.95, they will update its location every 5 Mins, sometimes, the problem is once the vehicle stops, sorry you have no way of locating it, the device immediately goes to sleep. Sometimes miles from the last update, nope no message showing where it went to sleep, simply nothing. Now for $29.95 the will give you an update every 1 minute,but, their tech support explained, no guarantee the battery will last a full day, and think about how big a half mile is in a city. Now for the insane price of $39.95, they will give you 10sec updates, " that outta do it you say" problem is batteries dead in what 2 hrs.There add says "View your target's location 24/7 and get live alerts directly from your computer" a complete lie, once the vehicle stops, you are SOL.And last but not least I go to return this usless piece of junk, I get"We can not accept the return of certain items, including:* GPS Tracking devicesThese policies are in place due to nature of our business, where customers use the item(s) for what they are designed for and then want to return them once the task has been completed."In other words: Brickhouse Security assumes you, the customer, are a thief, and intend to use the device and return it. Problem is it doesn't work. Best for a company like this to slip quietly into history, stay away.

I bought this device from BrickHouse Security's website direct. While the GPS device works. It's the smartphone interface I have a REAL PROBLEM WITH! On my iPhone 5, there isn't a dedicated App. You must use Safari. I thought, well ok. Fine. As long as it works. Well I was wrong. You have a mobile theme login page which does remember your username and password. When you login you only see the location of the device. No advanced features are available. So if you want to know if your child/car leaves an area, you cannot set the geofence to do so.There is a Switch to Full Site link on the mobile themed page. It only worked one time today. As I type now I cannot get it to work. If I press and hold the link, it asks to "Open" via JavaScript. Pressing the "Open" button does nothing now. The one time it did work, the geofence, and speed settings are so tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny you can't even use them. You can't zoom in as it resizes itself to be tiny again. Buyer beware. I give it one star for the service side of the gps tracker.

I've had this thing for three days and it does not work. It's fully charged. It's blinking like it has a signal. But it's not showing when you log in the account. I've driven it around for three days on the dash to 'connect' with the GPS. I've wasted almost an entire tank of gas hitting the open road to get this thing working - to no avail. Customer service does not speak English of any kind, but I did understand her request to put it on the dash and drive around some more. Don't waste your time or money. Find something that will work when you purchase it, will work well, and well, can actually have someone that speaks your language on the phone if you have a problem.

Terrible customer service. They are just pushing the sale, but when it comes to questions or problems, you get put on endless hold. I was trying to understand how the unit will tell me the vehicle's parking location, if time of stop was in between 2 reporting intervals. I could not get the answer. This seems to be a key issue with this product, not knowing where the vehicle is parked. Customer service is not knowledgeable and not friendly.

I call technical support and they had advised me to use chrome with apple products. I use my I pad & I phone and the program in chrome it works great, you may have to use a different server depending on the product that you use, they will explain that too you. when calling technical support i have had no wait time..prompt..I track in one minutes increment you can choose one to ten minutes or maybe more and Brick House has to set the minute tracking for you.. that makes a big different on how you track and view which they will help you with that.. so minute by minute i see the vehicle, The Geo fence is awesome it has a video step by step on how to set it up , it took me a few try's to get it right... you no when they come and go, it sends me a text when it enters and exits. Its so fast too pull up the site and i can see the vehicle on the site when it has alerted me so I know its accurate. so make sure you know how the minute tracking is, if you use 5 minute that means its five minutes ahead before it notifies you . {YOU have to CALL to SET up minutes )also NO BATTERy's it has a power cord for the Nano and the battery pac. it last me 4 weeks just on the Nano in one minute increment and when i got the battery pack it was over two months before i charged it and i think it still had 50%. the program tells you battery %, speed, full history, and more.. I caught my spouse lying, no more wondering and worrying and no its all in your mind...I would highly recommend BrickHouse Security and the product... I promise i am a customer, I feel the reviews i read were B S .... thats why i am taking the time to write this, I never wrote a review before.. But ladies No more worrying and wondering.... i didn't care about the reviews i had to try it and thank goodies i did cause it working for me.. Just call and they will help...Did i say I love it...Thanks Barbara
