Love these cookies! I ordered this holiday assortment for a gift and several of the shaped cookies were broken. They should have used more bubble wrap!!!

Yum!
IMO, the best cookies you can buy. Good movie, cup of tea, and Walker's cookies. Perfect evening.

How the cookie crumbles
The flavor was good, I’m not sure how fresh they were. My complaint, there was not an unbroken cookie on the tray. Should you purchase this you check immediately to make sure the cookies aren broken into tens of pieces. Very disappointing.

Taste fabulous but was in pieces
This container was in perfect shape on the outside. The plastic tray was broken and 3/4 of the cookies were in pieces. It was embarrassing because it was a hostess gift. 🙀. The 2nd box had a smashed tin and half the cookies were broken as well. It was a very expensive ($18/box) disappointment.

ok
Not as tasty as one would have hoped. The tin outshines the cookies.

No crunch
It arrived on time. The expiration date is 12/2024 and I received it 11/2024, but the cookies had zero crunch left to them. I think these cookies were too close to expiration date to retain freshness. Additionally, several cookies were broken on the inside, so this wouldn’t be good as a gift. The interior plastic the cookies were packaged in looked crumpled and smudged, meaning the plastic wasn’t the normal clear opacity. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the cute tin it came in. Won’t be recommending this to anyone.

Well, the tin is beautiful.... The cookies not so much lol
Unfortunately most of the cookies are broken... I had originally bought this to put out with other things at thanksgiving for everyone to snack on as we have most of my mothers side of the family (immediate relations anyway) coming for the 4 day weekend. Having 19 people over a few days goes through a lot of food lol.... I will still offer these, although I am a bit disappointed at them all being broken. I knew it was risky ordering these though as I read through reviews beforehand... Walkers Shortbread is a stable favorite with most of the family, no matter what they prefer to drink with it as it goes well with both hot tea and coffee, or milk for the kids. I ordered the Walkers Mince Pies as well, for the first time, as we have a lot of mincemeat lovers in the family as well and I'm only making one mince pie to take as I will also be making a pecan pie, and a couple of pumpkin pies. Luckily they don't seem to be broken like the cookies. I am still rating 3 stars even though the cookies are a mess because the tin itself is in perfect shape, and the box they came in wasn't banged up so I think the fault lies with how the cookies are packed... There is just too much room for them to bounce around in the tray inside the tin and good shortbread cookies should break apart easily and basically melt in your mouth when eating! I love the tin (It's actually why I chose these over the regular shapes they offer) and plan on adding it to my holiday decor, which I don't normally do. I usually avoid anything that comes in a tin as I always feel guilty throwing them out and you can't keep them all! Lol... I will probably use it for more of their cookies next year, and just buy the ones I usually get (the "cookie fingers" brick shaped) to fill the tin as they don't ever seem to have issues getting broken as they are pack so tight together.... Anyway, love the tin! Love the flavor/texture of the cookies, they are the best when it comes to store bought shortbread in my opinion! We have tried everything sold around here and the only thing that comes close is homemade. If you want the tin, and don't mind if the cookies are broken then I say go for it! For those worried about sell by dates, mine say they are good until the end of November 2023, so no worries there.
