I waited a few months to review to allow time for field testing, happy to say this belt delivers. Sturdy, well made and holds the gear in place as needed. For the money this belt far exceeds expectations.

This belt will stand up even when you have a large and heavy attachments (phone, knife or pistol). Comfortable and great looking.

Very sturdy belt, In hindsight I would have preferred a double tang buckle but this one is fine.Tip end of belt is a bit rough and requires just a bit more effort to get through loops and holsters but still fine for the job.

Finally, a sturdy, non-stretch duty belt that will accommodate the belt loops of your everyday jeans and tactical pants. I have a conceal carry permit and I everyday carry (EDC) my firearm and two magazine clips. Sometimes there is a need for additional gear (knife, walkie talkie, flashlight, etc.).Unfortunately, standardized duty belts are two inches in width and therefore, cannot accommodate the belt loops of the pants we normally wear. Thus, we are forced to wear two belts, one belt to hold up your pants and a second belt, a duty belt, for gear and worn on top of your pants belt. Obviously, you are now no longer covert in your appearance. This belt seems like a very sturdy belt. I doubted that it would be the full .20 thick but it is. I don't know about all the "genuine" leather verse "full grain" leather arguments but it does say genuine leather on the belt. I won't know about the durability for a year but it does seem heavy duty.Now for the sizing. I conceal carry (CC) everyday inside the waist band (IWB). My pant size without carrying is 34 and with carrying is 36. My last belt was a size 36 and I used the middle notch. I ordered this belt in a size 40 thinking it would be too big. It was not too big and it fit perfectly, I am in the middle notch on this belt. When I hold my old (36) and new (40) belts up together, they are exactly the same length. If you are going to purchase this belt, and I would recommend it, I would suggest you order 2 sizes larger.As a side note, my abs did not look like those in the picture while using the belt. It might be slightly defective in this area.

I thought my 1-1/2” jeans belt was adequate but this is a vast improvement!Much more stable; my IWB CCW stays put no matter what. It’s a wee bit wider than my jeans belt, I thought maybe a bit too wide, but the holster snaps into place like they were made for each other.Not sure if it’s really leather, it’s just so stiff and slick, but I’m also not sure I care because it works so well. Good price, too!

I like it however the sizing is off by 2 inches too short. A 34 waist would buy a sz 38, however this belt- get size 40 for example. No need for saddle soap, it’s already nice other than the shortness. I’m going to keep it regardless, still will fit, just a tad more snug than I’d like from a CCW belt.
