An easy-to-use and detailed guide on learning Classical Arabic through the Quran. Review: Learn Alphabet: then start with this book - This book is old school amazing. Large print in Arabic. If you read every single sentence in English, it leads you step by step so you don't get dropped. This book was written with love and full attention to the details necessary for beginning learners. Great methodology. Only downside is the spine of the book is weak. But I would just pay to have it re-bound or even just buy a new one. It's that good. This book is worth every penny. Review: Very helpful for absolute beginner, and for one who can already read Arabic - I am an absolute beginner in Arabic. This book is structured differently from other language textbooks. It teaches you how to read the Arabic alphabet and learn vocabulary and grammar reading through the Qu'ran, rather than through structured lessons. I have tried several times to learn Arabic but had given up on previous lessons for one reason: most Arabic textbooks begin by having the student memorize the stand-alone versions of each letter. This is unhelpful and misleading, as written Arabic has up to four different versions of each letter depending on where in the word it appears. The stand-alone, or isolated, form of each letter is very rarely used in real life. This book teaches reading the connected forms of the letters as they appear in the written Qu'ran, along with English translation. Grammar is explained gradually, in the context of the Surahs as they are read. It is always best to learn a language from a teacher, but this is the first book I have encountered which teaches the way people teach. I feel like this book will allow me to make some progress without a teacher, although it is still a difficult project.

A MUST
I would say this book should be a MUST have for any Muslim revert. After only a couple of weeks I am able to read and write Quranic Arabic. You have to already know the Alphabet, which is easy, but other than that it has been tremendously helpful. Thank you for this very helpful tool, now I don't want to read transliteration anymore just stick to Arabic الحمد الله

Just what I was looking for
I recommend you learn the letters and such to get going, but other wise, this book is beginner friendly. This is perfect for reading the more stylized calligraphy. I love how it just jumps right into it without having to bog you down with tons of grammar rules that no one will remember. The whole book flows naturally and everything becomes apparent. This is the most enjoyable to read book on Arabic I have found.

Best book to learn to read the Quran from zero!
This is the best book I found for learning how to read the Quran from zero level. I have been looking for something for a long time and I’ve tried many other books and programs; I wished I had found this years ago. Highly recommended for motivated learners with a zero level who want to read the Quran.

Huge Book
Assalamualaikum The size of this book is larger than a normal book. Each page has a lot of white space which makes it easy for reading and also room to add personal study notes. An idea for improvement would be a page or two with the Arabic alphabet with a guide for the sounds. Also a few rules for the vowels marks. These additional two pages in my opinion would be a tremendous help for new learners like me. I am excited to begin my study. Updated comments. Before purchasing this book, I studied the Arabic alphabet to be able to recognize the letters. My experience with this book so far is that the teaching has all of the letters connected and often makes them appear different than what I previously learned. This book might be helpful to some learners but for me it is a bit difficult because of the written style of the words being taught.

It's a good book for learners..
I personally think that this book is just too basic, it can be useful for kids trying to learn Quran, as for us adults i think level 2 or 3 would be great.

Excellent book on reading the Quran
One of the most interesting and practical books on reading the Quran. This book deserves more than five stars. Unfortunately, one earlier reviewer hurried to find fault, if just studied one page further where Hamza and Alif difference is explained. I don’t understand why some people heartlessly undermine an excellent work rather than reading little further. I highly recommend this book!
