Blue Heaven Cheese Shaker by Rogue Creamery (3 ounce)

Loved this! I have been waiting to get my hands on a shaker of this stuff but they go out of stock quickly! I did like it on popcorn like so many have said but my favorite has been to put it on corn on the cob right after buttering it! The only criticism I have is that its slightly difficult to shake out of the container in the smaller holed side and it also seems to want to clump together so its harder to evenly distribute over any food that you put it on. However, if fixing those problems changes the flavor in any way then I am just fine with it being hard to shake out!

I first bought this from the shop at the cheese factory in Oregon and was delighted to be able to get this on Amazon after trying the other dried blue cheese offered on Amazon. This tastes great and looks like blue cheese not some industrial white powder. The flavor is great. I use it on popcorn. Outstanding. I appreciate Amazon bringing artisanal, regional foods to my doorstep.

The product just arrived and I tasted it and it tasted great. The expiration date is November 3rd 2017 only 4 months away. I can't see using the entire product within 4 months. It would have been nice if you shipped a product with a longer expiration date.

It tastes okay, but nothing I would rave about. I love blue cheese, so I thought I would try based on the reviews. I put it on popcorn and I'm not too impressed.

I love blue cheese, and frequently use cheese powder in cooking, as a popcorn coating, etc. Saw this from the Rogue Creamery, one of my favorite artisan cheesemakers, and jumped on it.Rogue's blue cheese is wonderful--I keep some in the fridge whenever I can find it--but it doesn't taste a thing like the powder. The powder is, well, awful. Maybe the moisture in the cheese changes the flavor or something, but once powdered, the taste is truly disgusting. I tried mixing it into oil as part of a salad dressing, sprinkling it on popcorn, adding it to soup, just to make sure I was being fair. Nothing helped because the flavor is so strong--I could still taste the powder, and it tasted just as bad as when I tried it solo.I love Rogue's other products, but I'll give this one a wide berth in future.

We've used it on/with several dishes so far. It adds a distinctive flavor.

It has a strong blue cheese flavor and really works great on popcorn. Also good on baked potatoes if you are out of the real deal.

Have not tried your product, yet. I plan a salad for lunch and will use it at that time. I am not sure if it was your product recommended by The Kitchen, but I am betting that it will be awesome. I will follow up with another review.
