Eyeglasses Ear Hook

Stopped the glasses from slipping down, doesn't hurt ears. Would recommend

I’ve worn glasses full time now for about 20 years. I’ve always struggled with them sliding down as I work on the car, work on the house, etc. This little rubber ( maybe plastic ) eyeglass arm pieces are great. I’m using them oldie a month now and love them. Once you take your glasses off and put them back on you may have to reposition. Maybe that’s just me because I do NOT handle things gently. Regardless, it is a minor inconvenience to have your glasses stay put.

The first time I saw these I thought "Now that's cool!" I have been using croakies and every other kind of eye glass retainer strap for years. All of them come with a couple of annoyances. No matter what the price, they eventually start to become too stretched out to stay on the temples/earhooks of my glasses. It's extremely frustrating to have these things slide right off your glasses while wearing or trying to put them on. The other problem was having an annoying little "tail" behind me from the extra length of retainer cord. The best and most expensive one I ever tried is the Cablz Zipz. They were elegantly made and worked great. There was no "tail" behind my head. But even they failed after about a year or less. The silicone or rubber material was eventually too loose to keep them secured to my eyeglasses. And that brings us to these. From the moment I tried them I thought that it was very cool to have a practically invisible retainer system on my eyeglasses. Not that I'm greatly concerned about how people think about my looks but there was some appeal in something that felt a little less nerdy looking because you can't see it as easily. I tried them on. Ah! Sweet bliss! YES! Fifteen minutes later... THESE THINGS HURT! Ouch the back of my ears! MUCH HURT! But I kept on. And the hurt kept on. There were several times when I thought "Yeah, this is not gonna work." I persevered and continued to use them until one day there was no pain! Nothing! Not even a drop. Relief. Smiles. I was pleased. To help out those who are thinking about buying this, I can tell you that it took about three weeks for the hurt to go away. I am feeling just fine with these now. I even wear them to bed. (probably a no-no) Now as with all things silicone, these have loosened up some and oily skin is also not your friend there. But they have never come off my eyeglasses and most importantly, I am only one my first set. These have held up for months. I have several more that I can use when these finally fail. If you can deal with some discomfort you should definitely give these a try. If you can't you might as well stick with the corded retainers.

This product is one that works as it stated it would in the description. I was getting frustrated, to put it mildly, with my new acetate glasses. You have to heat them up to adjust them. Let them cool and repeat if needed. No matter how many times i tried, They kept slidind down my nose. I was gonna break them either out of repetitive adjustment or anger. I gave these a try and they actually work well.

These DO work. The 3 stars are because they pulled the glasses too close to my eyes, causing headaches from the constant pulling pressure. I switched to silicone sleeves and whereas they aren't as grippy, they dont pull the glasses backwards. Disclaimer -- my glasses may be the issue, so YMMV.

Perspiration causes my glasses to slide down or fall off. These keep them snug no matter how much I sweat. Silicone, so non allergenic. Low profile. The pack will easily last a year. Also available in packs of all clear or all black. I highly recommend this product.

These are easy to put on and keep my glasses in the right spot. Would buy again.

The package contained only black items, not the mixture of black, brown and clear as advertised. The grips do work if you are willing to spend time adjusting them but have a tendency to slip around when used on modern specs with slim arms due to the holes being too large.

Desde hace varios años que uso lentes, siempre me encontraba con el problema de que se me resbalaban y era desesperante tener que acomodarlos todo el tiempo o agacharte y que los anteojos cayeran al piso, gracias a estas gomitas, puedo traer cómodamente mis lentes todo el día. No pesan y le quedan a todos los lentes y anteojos. Son muy sencillos de colocar y no se notan cuando los traes puestos. Les doy un 5 de 5.

Cumplen con su función, son cómodos y por donde pasa la pata de los lentes es estrecho pero flexible, lo cual lo vuelve ideal para todo tipo de lentes
