Bought from Amazon Resale (cheaper) box was very slightly damaged, but the unit appeared to be brand new, replaced a failed one in 5 minutes, all working perfectly, very pleased with my purchase

The unit came quickly and on first impression was well made, easy access to connections and looked like a more expensive item.However the electronics are woefully poor quality, the unit time adjustment is not linear and hence trying to get the time correct is almost impossible, the unit tiggers when there is no movement, I even tried a small plastic bucket over it and it still clicks on and off every few minutes, but the time it stays on for changes too, disconnected it, pointess paperweight.Oh and as I work as an electrician I should of known better, it was way too cheap but hey ho lesson learnt.DO NOT BUY

The old unit finally stopped functioning after the PIR screen succumbed to the weather.Purchased the new edition to replace the old. Wiring instructions a bit confusing, why use the letter A which does have a meaning if you are in the know. Why not just say Live feed from PIR to light fitting, which everyone could understand.Otherwise easy to connect and fit to the wall. It works fine and angled down a bit picks up animals moving around the back yard in the dark.The unit is very reasonably priced and if it lasts for almost 20 years like the old one will be very good value for money.

I had an automatic motion sensor LED floodlight (£55) from a leading DIY store, in which the PIR detector had failed due to weather damage and water ingress. Rather than throw away the whole thing, I decided to try and replace just the PIR detector part, took a punt on this inexpensive Luceco PIR detector, and to my pleasure I found that it was physically and electrically identical to my old failed detector. It was a fairly straightforward job to swap in the Luceco detector, and my security light is now as good as new. A classic example of the Right to Repair in action! One very nice feature of this Luceco detector is that the three adjusting knobs can be turned with fingers, rather than needing to fiddle about with a screwdriver whilst up a ladder in the dark. Recommended, for both new and repair projects.

Great product at a realistic price

I’ve had this fitted for 18 months now but it’s not reliable unfortunately and tends to stop working. I don’t know why, possibly the electronics are not robust enough?

Good with adjustment for time and light. Worked all winter no problem.

Ordered 2 and both were non-functional as motion detectors.The lights just stayed on continuously - no matter how often I power cycled them on/off with different durations as per the user instructions. AVOID this product.I contacted the manufacturer directly and, to be fair, they sent out a replacement. Only one - but at least it works.
