These felt tip polishers work very well. However, the listing doesn't mention size. In my 20 piece set, the largest was 3/8" diameter, which is smaller than I expected.

I bought these to be used on a professional buffing motor.. Haven't used the yet but they do appear to be well built

They are not so soft enough

You may think that these will unravel immediately but they don't. They are very durable and can be used more than once. I use them to polish metal and use them with Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish and they work great. Highly recommended.

I have polished two PMR-30 & one AR feed ramps. Already paid for itself several times over.

There is no mention of size on the business end of things. These are pretty small. Your largest diameter is about 3/8" to maybe a 1/2". Most of these are much smaller than that. Your indication of size is to look at the pictures and determine if they will work for you by comparing the 1/8" shank size to the fiber end. I used a variable speed Dremel tool with them on about the lowest speed. I used solid ruge for the rubbing compound, to polish guitar frets. they worked ok for that purpose. I think these are more suited to jewelry or other fine detail work. They are indeed hard, so keep that in mind for your intended use. I think for these, a slower speed is a must!P

The shafts are smaller than I’m used too.

Arrived today and there is only 16 pieces total, description says 20 pieces. Most of them look a mess. I doubt I’ll be able to polish using them as there are not soft at all. Not impressed.

Watch where you use them they’ll mark up your aluminum chrome atc
