Bought two of these to use to put up a light weight pole or even light nylon cord between them for hanging a sheet to divide a room off in our tent. The rings are plenty big enough to use a sturdy bamboo pole or light small PVC pipe etc. If you needed to anchor the poles to the hook you probably could figure out something to secure it to this open wire design. Simple and light weight and pretty close to what I hoped it would be for my needs. Hook is made to not hang from the point itself like a normal robe hook but to either slip items such as spaghitti strings or belts or bag handles over the hook and it's then deep enough to prevent them from slipping off.It would make an ok scarf hanger too but I needed it for more utilitarian purpose and it's going to work well for that. PS I had to modify tent and canopies with velcro straps to allow me a way to hang this and another Rod Hook 4 in Bronze from same maker too. That ones hooks were too shallow for what I hand in mind but will still function just not as overall well as this one. Also I can hang it under my patio roof and run a pole or cord between two of them and hold up a cloth non vinyl shower curtain so people can sleep outdoors on our outdoor day beds summers when the sprinklers come on at night. Overall this one is a winner for projects thought outside the box. (PS...by screwing or nail gunning a nylon cord or webbing loop to the top of the ceiling under the patio I can slip the top over the rod part into the loop which allows me to use this as needed. Make sure you orient the loop so the hanger will hang in the direction you need it to.

I previously bought some kind of tie holder thing to hang all my scarves. It hung awkwardly in the closet, barely able to fit over the pole, and i discovered the sharp edges of it had punctured several of my scarves! This round device is so much better and simpler. Plus, for scarves anyway, they don't escape this and fall off the way they did on the other device, which had several "levels". This one was a tight fit over the pole in the closet but it did fit and i like this design much better.

I got one of these, to hold a back pack and a tote bag that I don't want to mix in with the rest of my purses/totes, and - what can I say? It seems to be made well - none of the hooks are crooked or wobbly - and it fits the closet rod, and the other hooks are both deep and wide enough to hold the pack securely and without scrunching the handles of the tote. It does what it says it will, and you can't ask for much more than that. :-)

I am currently using this for belts, but it is very strong.I also have the quad version which is holding four purses (always one at least filled with heavy things like a laptop and planner).This entire line of hooks are sturdy and a great help organizing my closet. I also like that it isn’t just stainless steel, I think it has a copper finish that looks very nice.

So I bought this so I could hang my robe on it, along with my belt on one side, and I have two purses on the other hooks. I imagine you could also use this to hang jewelry too! I really like it and will probably order another one. I have tried multiple types of belt hangers. This one is by far my favorite and easiest to use. I love that it is metal too and not cheap plastic. Very durable.

Now that I have four Anuschka handbags, I wanted some way to store them while displaying them (the artwork is incredible). Although I bought both this and the "over the door" model, I ended up hanging this on an existing over-the-door rack where I display my scarves. As others have posted, it would be nice to have one much longer with twice as much space between the hooks; having the bags overlap so much kind of defeats the purpose (although using both sides helps). But it is solid and well-made (not like those plastic or cloth versions), and I like it.

I use these to hang my tank tops and it's perfect. It holds a lot and is easy to scoop your arm through the tank tops to get to the one you want. Great for small space organizing. I just purchased a 3rd one as I underestimated my tank top inventory ;0D One more will allow me to keep me fashion tanks, layering tanks, and workout tanks, all separated for even easier selection.

I use this to hang dog leashes in my coat closet. I didn't want to put up a hanger by our door for them. This allows me to keep walls intact, and the leashes hang well from the close rod. I even hang the retractable leash styles from this device. I'd highly recommend for leash/belt etc storage. It's great!

Bought them (2 initially) to hang my tanks/camis; space saving, no rummaging without finding the one I’m looking for anymore. Was exactly what I was looking for. Bought another too for other items I want quick access to.

I ordered one hook to start with, and initially, was pleased with the size, shape and smoothness. (Most hooks had rough edges that would damage my scarves.). Unfortunately, I ordered three more and discovered that there is a very small area that is rough. These hooks are not safe at all for delicate or expensive accessories.

I'm an avid tie collector (strange I know, but people have collected stranger) and I use these to store my collection. They're very sturdy and they allow for efficient storage without causing any creases. I wouldn't recommend anything else!
