Great heat press
Awesome heat press that arrived nicely packaged and exactly as described. Heated relatively quickly and evenly. Had limited instruction book, but is pretty self explanatory. We put it to work on a ball team order within 10 minutes of unpacking it. Very satisfied with this purchase so far.

Decent
I use the heat press to press plastisol transfers to t-shirts … I mostly go it for the size, b/c I knew I wanted to press large prints and what not. Pros, it worked!!! And it came with a teflon sheet. I’ve pressed a few tees, and they’ve all come out good. Cons, the time setup isn’t straight forward to program (ie. It can only be set while the heat press is on and down). Also, the heat press isn’t the same temp all the way around. The Center is the correct temp, but the heat is lower as you move towards the edges. I have a laser thermometer, and I would suggest anyone with a heat press get one to check for cold spots

Product is Defective and Company is unprofessional
I purchased this for my craft business. I own a smaller Promo Heat press and have been very happy with it for the last year and a half. I have a need to sublimate items which are larger than 15" so was looking into a larger press. Because of the success that I have had with my current Promo Heat, I was not real hesitant to purchase another one in a larger size. I am now regretting that choice. I contacted the Seller to inform them that the unit was a defective. In less than 24 hours, with no other explanation, they just closed my request for a return stating that I was having a "technical issue". That I needed to contact them "directly" and to review their return policy. There is no technical issue...it is defective. The heat plate/platen is warped. As you pull the handle down to close it, you can watch the left side only of the handle pulling down. The knob for adjusting pressure is so out of whack that you cannot easily adjust it. I can only assume this is because the handle was mounted incorrectly. So they want me to contact them directly, but do not provide me with a number or outside e-mail to get a hold of them. My only way to contact them is through here.So I reviewed their "Refund Policy" that they told me to review. It is mostly a standard legal disclaimer regarding injury while using the product and then there is a small little insert, "Item is sold in its current “as/is” condition as described." But yet in their description of the item it say "Arrives fully assembled and ready to use. . ." Which I am unable to do because it won't close properly to allow it to press. While I have been satisfied in the past with PromoHeat, I am very unhappy with this supplier, It was a great price if I could have used it. Now I have a very expensive 100 lb paperweight in my workshop.

Good magazine press, poor quality control.
I'm enjoying using this press to flatten some of my old comics that were warped by moisture. In general, it seems to be a great, heavy duty product. I'm only giving 4 stars because it seems to have a flaw: the bottom plate is warped such that one corner bends downward. I don't think this is a "feature" because it is asymmetrical and obviously that part of the press will not be able to apply as much pressure. It only amounts toabout 1/8 of the total area so I can still find room to press magazines. If I needed to press something that is 24x16", however, I would have to press it twice with a 180 degree rotation in-between. It had a "QC" sticker on it, so I'm surprised that it got passed quality control, and feel a bit like the Mix Wholesale company is pushing a lemon. But it does the job and was only $300 so I'm not going to return it (also it's a bear to mail).Another criticism is the poorly written operator's manual. Only 3 pages. It may have been written by a non-native speaker. Poor punctuation, poor grammar, sometimes uses shorthand spelling like "Pls" for "Please". I'm still solving mysteries that could have been explained by a good manual. Like why do the LED gauges have 4 digits but the time only goes up to 0999 seconds? Why does it say "OUT" next to the green lights? The product comes with a rubber mat and special sheet - when are these needed? How does one fix a relay or fuse (since that is the solution to half of the troubleshooting problems)? What is the maximum temp? Power consumption? Warranty? etc etcIf you are interested in flattening magazines, the best results I have had came from starting with the heat at 180, clamping down, putting two 20 lb weights on the top surface, unplugging the unit, and let it cool and press overnight (8 hours). I've done a lot of 999 sec (16 min) runs (since that is the max time on the timer), and it will greatly improve non-color breaking warps, but there will still be noticeable wrinkles. I've done all of my runs with the rubber mat and special sheet (the mat must be needed for proper pressure distribution). As a final note, I'm skeptical that the temperature readout is really in celsius, as the manual implies. 180 C is WAY above the boiling point of water, but if it's set at 180, and I spray water on the hottest surface, it doesn't quickly boil away.

Great
This is much larger than I have been using for the last several years. Will take a little to get used to, but can't imagine having anything smaller again. Has proven to be a great investment so far.

Great Product
It is a Great Product. It works like expected. Very easy to setup time, temp and pressure. This product was packaged very well. It did have a dent in the front left corner of the metal that covers the upper platen. This had to happen before packaging because of how well it was packaged. I decided not to return it because it is so heavy and it was just cosmetic damage. The dent doesn't affect the operation of the heat press. One other thing is that the description and instructions lead a person to believe that the temperature gage is in Celsius, but it is actually Fahrenheit.

Amazing heat press
Amazing heat press. I love the size and pressure of the heat press. Super heavy, do not attempt to move alone.
