My dog likes the flavor of these more than the dog food so more like a treat, but I think it helps her hips

Zuke's hip and joint chews made a huge difference with my elderly chihuahua! She literally dances in circles when she knows she's getting one of these chews and her movement and agility have greatly improved since taking these supplements! Highly recommend!!

My two little rescue Maltese are Zuke’s fans and when I say the name, they react the same as they do to the word ‘treat’. My older Maltese is estimated to be about 7 years old and she does not like any of the glucosamine supplements. I was so happy to discover these Hip Action treats which she loves. My younger rescue is only a year old but she suffered a broken leg at some point that has healed so badly, with muscles and scar tissue surrounding the joints, that surgery is not recommended. Arthritis is expected to be a problem for her as she ages which some prophylactic glucosamine and other supplements may help to minimize. Although there is not a lot of glucosamine and chondroitin in these treats, when combined with the other ingredients, I feel as though I am giving them a wholesome and beneficial treat. The back of the package gives the formula: weight in pounds x 0.023 = treats per day. The large treats are thick and moist and very easy to break into smaller pieces. Zuke’s treats are made in the USA and my dogs are fans.

Every pup we ever had has used Zuke’s Hip Action and Joint Support. All of our dogs have enjoyed them. And, we never had hip/joint issues with any of our dogs. We have little dogs who get one a day. Our routine is to give them a square after their morning walk. We split the square into four so it prolongs the treat and easier for them to chew. All of our pups have learned to count to four!

We rescued a then 8 wk old lab-pit mix puppy whom we noticed to limp a little, especially after lying down but was fine was he got going and never seemed to be in any discomfort. As of 3 weeks ago his limping worsened & also happened when just simply walking. I finally took him to his vet where she determined after a combination of palpation, and some range of motion test that it was/is his right hip or knee or both. I'm concerned with the possibility of early hip dysplasia given his breed and the symptoms at such a young age. The vet opted to hold off on X-rays (it would cost $238) and treat as a sprain/strain and instead, prescribed him a low dose of Rimadyl (NSAID- 75 mg for his 46-lb self, normal dose is 2 mg/lb of body weight) and said to limit walks to 5-10 minutes tops 3 times a day and absolutely NO dog park or parks for 2 weeks. It seemed to help him some and there was a day or 2 last week I had to increase his dose to the full 90 mg and as recommended by his vet given him Benadryl as needed to keep him mellow & less active. Yesterday, Friday, exactly after 1 week of Zuke's Hip Action 2 X a day, he was so full of energy again, was wanting to run and jump around and insisting on longer walks. It's day 2 of him being completely limp-free and I am so glad to see him almost back to his usual puppy self. I still am a bit leery that this relief could be a fluke or short-term & still plan on keeping him on short walks until our upcoming 2-week appointment this Wednesday. I'm only giving this product 4 stars because I am not sure if all he needed was time and rest for him to heal or that this product finally kicked in once it got through his system after 1 week of use. Unlike what some reviewers said, these treats are very moist and soft, and most of all must be very palatable and made of REALLY GOOD stuff here in the US. He loves the taste, I love the price and efficacy- win win over here! I will continue to order these through Amazon, especially, after pricing them at our local pet stores and finding out they charge almost twice as much for the 1-lb bag. This product's a winner!

My Am Staffi was given the diagnosis of dixlyating petella. When she was 3 I took this as a very light dignosis little did I know how bad it could get. Now that my baby girl is about 11 years old she was barely put her leg to the ground. She had an extrememly difficult time standing up. I even had to buy a tempurpedic bed just for her to sleep at night. Even on the bed sometime she starts to cry due to her discomfort. You can tell how miserable she was watching my other dogs play without her. I was heartbroken to leave her behind while we went on hikes. I decided to invest in the Zuke's Dog Treats as a last hope. I cannot tell you how much it improved our lives. She LOVES the treats. Yes they make her breath a little stinky but she is running with the pack now. She is back to her liveliness romping around the backyard with her playmates. She is going on long hikes through the woods. Best of all she is FINALLY sleeping through the entire night without even a wimper. Invest into your dog now and buy these awesome treats!

The Zuke's Hip Action and Joint Support seem to work well. Our papillon is 14 and she's still got a spring in her step. Se continues to take fairly long walks on a daily basis though she's slowed a little.

My dog is an 11year, extra large mutt. He has really bad joint and muscle pain. So much that when we actually play with him, he wakes up in the middle of the night screaming and crying. I’ve been giving him these treats in his food twice a day for a few years and it makes a HUGE difference. I thought it was a coincidence so one time a few years ago, when I ran out I stopped buying more. Such a mistake. My dog started limping and walking much slower. Now I make sure he never runs out. Worth the price!

Number one treat for my dog but this package arrived stale and as my dog is old, she needs it to be softer like usual.

My dog loves these. I can't really say if they work since he's only 3. He doesn't necessarily neeeeed them but he goes pretty hard and puts a lot on strain on his joints. I figured starting these early will help prevent any arthritis later on. He would definitely give them an A+ for tastes though, I'm sure.

We buy these all the time at our local pet store and they are fresh and soft. The ones we received from the Zuke's Amazon shipment are harder then a rock and I would not make a stray animal eat them (not sure if they could even chew them). Skip these, we are going to attempt to return the old stale product that we were shipped.

This product has helped my dog a lot. My dog has a bad hip and had a hard time walking and after giving my dog these hip action treats it has inproved him a lot and is even running some.
