I am a languages teacher and I move around schools and classes 4 times a week. So I needed a bag that could take my planner , water bottle , pencil case and other resources without needing to put everything in “strategically” to make everything fit in. Well this bag is amazing , it is very spacious and it takes my A4 sized ( chunky) planner and everything else I throw in it when I’m rushing from class to class . It is roomy and lightweight yet sturdy. It has enough pockets to fit in things like keys, wallet, phone , charger , etc … I love it and would recommend it .

Bag is well made and sturdy.The strap could be better as no padding and it creases up in the holding brackets.

Very smart bag for my daily commute. Comfortable, looks cool and fits my laptop along with lunch.

I had hopes for this bag. Super thin (minimal laptop padding) and super light (normally a good thing). Very thin and uncomfortable shoulder strap when carrying only a 13 inch Dell XPS - small and light laptop. Within ONE use, the strap started to gather at the buckle on the side as it has no rigidity. Very unimpressed with this item. Cannot recommend to anyone.

I got this and the smaller version for £52! The larger one from the website is £55, so get this!This bag is seriously lightweight but very tough and strong too. It’s roomy but not unwieldy. The ability to lower it via the long strap seems to make it lighter too, or in crowded trains have the strap high up for compactness.There are not loads of annoying small zipped pockets that never get used, apart from a long one actually on the flap say for a4 sheets. One on the outside at the back that faces your body and a couple of open pockets just under the flap.There’s a simple but effective padded part for a laptop inside. There is a long zip as well as the main flap that keeps everything in.Because its so light you can carry it with a few things and not feel you are lugging unnecessary weight around, but always be ready to add more stuff as you go around. Love it!

I've had a few Eastpak messengers. They've been top quality and lasted well.So this one was a big disappointment. Everything about it felt cheaper than usual. The material is more plasticy. There's fewer pockets and they're all big and deep, no little handy pockets for pens, brollies, cards etc.. No key chain.The strap is not detachable anymore and the shoulder pad is not padded. Its just solid plastic that hardly bends at all.Its also a bit big for a messenger. They're usually built to hold a 15" laptop. This will take a 17" but that just results in a shoulder bag thats too big.I ummed and arrr-ed for a week but in the end decided to return the bag.You're still paying for Eastpak prices, but the quality is no longer there.
