I had been looking for a tiny, push button LED light to attach to TV remotes and BlueTooth computer keyboards that some manufacturers forgot to backlight for consumers like me who use them in a dark room while watching movies. I need something that is tiny, can be attached to a small remote or keyboard, and directs a small amount of light onto the buttons or keys.These are small black plastic cubes, roughly one cubic inch in size. The package includes adhesive and magnetic mounts, so you can use either method to attach to your device.I hoped these would use a push-button ON-OFF, with an easy press like a ballpoint click-pen...push once for ON...push again for OFF, but that is not exactly how these are designed.These use a somewhat unintuitive method of pressing the upper part of the light laterally (direction depends on how you mount it, could be forward, backward or sideways) to get the light to pop up like a Jack-in-the-box and turn ON. What you are doing is forcing the spring-loaded light to pivot outward (or downward and outward) away from two retainer clips that hold the light in the down (OFF) position. It takes more force than I expected to get the light to pop up. The lateral force is nearly enough to break loose the adhesive or magnetic mounting from the device you have attached it to.I bought several of these, but I won't be using them on my keyboards or remotes. They may work better in a different application, although the packaging pictures it being used on a TV remote. I'm still looking for a better option. This product addresses the need, but the crude method of turning the light ON is a deal breaker for me.

I love the microlite. It's small but mighty. I am certainly going to order more. There are so many uses. I saw it advertised at the end of a baby crib so I did it for my grandsons crib and it works great. My other older granddaughter gets up in the nite to go potty and takes it with her, so cute. She calls it her "poppy". I am using one on my front door because I hate leaving the porch light on when I come home late at night (bugs) so now I just pop up my microlite and can easily find the key hole. It's bright, bright, bright and small enough that you could take it anyway. My granddaughter wants them for everything. I plan to order many more including to use for stocking stuffers. I love them. Great product. Oh did I mention I also bought the 3 pak and I think now they come in a 6 pak. And colors too. GO MICROLITE.

Wow, what a light! The great thing about this little light is you can use it anywhere, anytime. We have them in our cabinets, on our central air thermostat, door locks, and I carry several in my tool box. So small, but alot of light. The uses are unlimited, and it appears to be very durable, plus it's a snap to use. This is a must have item for any household, garage, or automobile. Sure beats trying to find that big flashlight I never remember where I left.
