If you are having moderate but troublesome heaaring issues, here is the answer.
I had my hearing tested recently and was told that convventional hearing aid technology would not offer cost effective improvvement for my hearing issues which ocurred when trying to converse in some restaurants and when watcing wome streamed videos on TV. This device works very well for my purposes. It is also relatively inconspicuous. It is very well made.There are 4 modes, the first filters out most ambient noise and is the one I use most often. The second mode signifciantly boosts humaan speech frequencies while suppressing ambient sounds. The third mode reducees ambient noise even more and I really have never found a use for it. The 4th mode is for TV and works well; however I find mode 1 is all I need. It allows me to significantly lower the TVs volume level which makes the volume unobtrusive for most others also watching. There are four switch points, two for volume control an on/off requiring hold down for a couple seconds and the mode selection switchFor me this has and is a great value and I'm sure many others will have the same opinion if they buy it.

Not good for listening - People think I'm listening to music
Okay, I'm pretty much on the fence in the area of NEEDING a hearing aid. This one didn't impress me. It just didn't do much but get in the way and look kind of like I wasn't paying attention.
