Badly done
I see that others received an ARC copy and I wish I had too. The book is confusing, convoluted and wordy. There are constant run on sentences that have be read several times and then punctuated in your head in order to make sense. One out of every 5 words could be deleted without losing anything and the characters are so flimsy and poorly drawn, its hard to care about them.Except as a method for constant rape, the institute makes little sense. The purpose for the institute is never explained and the code names are hard to keep track of.I suspect this author was trying for a Story of O type plot but she failed.Add to that the annoyance that I bought all three titles in the series but received only two. Oh well, its not like I would read them anyway.

The Institute enters the spy foray!
Emily Tilton is on my short list of favorite authors. "The Institute" series is a great example of her work and this book, while not actually a part of that series, refers to the work done at "The Institute." I highly recommend that you read Emily's book "Bought and Trained (The Institute Series Book 1)" so that you have a background for this book. Better yet, read all the books in "The Institute" series. They are well worth the investment, both in terms of money and time. Just beware of the author's cautionary statements in the description. There are a lot of things going on here and if you don't want to read about the kink, don't get the book. Reading the series will give you a solid introduction to what happens at the Institute, the people involved in working there, and why there are students. This particular book has a lot of thrilling action in it. How in the world is this author going to make everything work out? Never fear! She does it and the HEA is well worth it. This is a standalone novel but as I mentioned, it's all in the same creative space as the other books by this author. This book was awesome with an original story line and amazing characters. It has unexpected twists and mind blowing, bed breaking sex. What more could you want?I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Hot and seriously entertaining book
I loved this book. It hit every one of my fantasy buttons. Ms. Tilton writes in an easy-to-read style, alternating viewpoints (because I want to hear both the hero and heroine's thoughts!) while creating vivid imagery and an intricate, ongoing plot. I honestly found the interactions between Cynthia and her institute trainer Greg (who is not the trillionaire of the title) to be my favorite part because of the psychology used to train her and bring about her submission before she arrives at the home of the man who has purchased her. This book is not for the easily offended or innocent; there are dark desires on all sides that may make some readers uncomfortable. If you like warning labels, you'll like this series.

Hot beyond imagination
Emily Tipton has led us on this journey of a young woman through the stages of becoming a concubine in order to save the fair of our world. Cynthia is a nineteen year old virgin who will soon be trained as a submissive and introduced to a lifestyle she could never imagine herself being a part of. The characters are very believable and if you want lots of hot sex, you must read this series.

Boring
I may be one of the few who found this book so hard to read. I gave up quite a few times and only because i hate quitting when i get an ARC did i not just give a DNF. I found that the talk of code names, and message texts, and other people in the side note involved in getting Cynthia to where she could be used for the institute( not that i saw how that even happened or maybe i didn't understand it) just bored the heck out of me and I really couldn't care less. Instead i struggled and in the end just clung on long enough so i could produce a review.Maybe others would find the detailed convolution of what the Institute do and how all the other people with their more than one names interesting. The title was also misleading, the training was mostly carried out by the Institute and then a few scenes with the purchaser before we get a conclusion. I tried I really did, but this was not for me.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

These institute books are rather steamy, read with caution. Cynthia is a young virgin who is caught pleasuring herself and sent to the institute to be trained and disciplined by Greg and eventually sold to the highest bidder. The institute is also the front for a secret society who uses the young women to gather intel on their clients. Get your book and follow the adventure of Cynthia to see if she gets the man she wants and escapes the clutches of the society. Characters from the other institute book is referenced in this one as well. Enjoy!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

All of the internal communications took me out of the story, etc.
I skimmed through most of the story but I had truly wanted to like it. I've read the author's books before and I just can't get into them, but the premises seem interesting and so i try. At this point it's probably not fair to the author to keep trying to like what i just don't -- I guess her style -- but I don't think I've ever written a review for any of the other books of hers that I've read, so this one will be it. The story felt overly complicated by the "saving the world" intentions, all of these code names that became annoying, and I found out exactly how very little i came to care about hipster girls. It just did not feel sexy at all. I didn't care about any of the characters -- no one had a personality that was engaging, I felt empathy for no one. I found the characters to be completely one-dimensional. Even what was supposed to be erotic was generally bland. It was a no for me. I'm glad I got it through KU because I could not read this again.
