ASR Tactical Braided HMPE Cord 260lb Strength Survival Cord Rope, 100ft Black

I've ordered quite a few different brands of "kevlar" string for various purposes. This one is not only the most durable, but it "locks" against itself better than the other, more waxy varieties. This one has a more matte sheath that does a good job of binding against itself, and it is definitely as strong as it claims. I would trust it to at least 100lbs per strand.

It is covered in black plastic. You can not manipulate it for use to tie or secure things. Further the black plastic covering makes it difficult to tie secure knots. Also the black covering is easily cut and also melts when exposed to flame. The white interior begins to fray when this happens. It is difficult to judge it's weight bearing capability as it is difficult to attach and secure it.Further you are unable to return it.Overall a poor product that I would not recommend.

It's alright. Doesn't stay in most knots for very long.

This "cord" will accomplish what you need it to. Fantastic product. Make sure you have a clear understanding on how you can/would use cord like this prior to picking up. It would be a shame to have such a useful item lay around without use.

strong, but little flexibility

the black one, while strong and durable, is not very flexible so it has a hard time biting itself with knots

It is not easily tied into knots, the stiff slippery plastic outer is weak and unused. It can't be returned

im shocked its small as electricle wire for a speaker.one sided,not 2 sided. thats very thin. all that in the picture will fit in your hand.

I use this to tie the tailpieces on my violin. Works very very well!!
