My Face Just Got Significantly Cooler.
Alright, let's talk about iconic eyewear. For years, I admired people who could effortlessly rock a pair of classic sunglasses. My own attempts usually involved cheap, flimsy shades that either fell off my face or made the world look vaguely seasick. I decided it was time to invest in a legend. Enter the Ray-Ban New Wayfarer. I chose the classic black, because if you're going for iconic, you go all in. When they arrived, the box felt important. Opening it revealed the signature case and the sunglasses themselves. Holding them, they felt solid, well-made, and instantly cooler than anything I'd owned before. It was like my face suddenly leveled up its style game just by being in the same room. Putting them on for the first time felt... right. The fit is comfortable, the weight is perfect, and they just sit there confidently on your nose, not trying to slide off or pinch your temples. But the real magic happens when you step outside. The world through these lenses is just better. Colors seem richer, the sky is a more vibrant blue, and the sun, that previously annoying ball of glare, is suddenly... manageable. It's like the sunglasses have a built-in filter that enhances reality while simultaneously protecting your eyeballs from becoming tiny raisins. I found myself squinting less and subtly nodding more, as if acknowledging the newfound clarity and coolness of my surroundings (and myself). They're versatile too. They look great whether I'm dressed up or just running errands in my most questionable sweatpants. They add a touch of effortless cool to any outfit. I've caught my reflection and thought, "Hey, I look pretty good!" which is a rare and welcome occurrence. If you're looking for sunglasses that are stylish, comfortable, provide excellent sun protection, and make you feel like you're starring in your own movie montage every time you put them on, the Ray-Ban New Wayfarer is a fantastic choice. They're a classic for a reason. My eyes are happier, my face is cooler, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the view.

Great quality, good lenses, great value.
Well oddly Amazon thinks these are shoes when I went to write a review but whatever :) Pros: They aren't shoes Great sunglasses, I lost a pair of these go kart racing, and immediately bought another pair if that says anything. I have a squareish face, so anything to large, or to wide kinda looks weird on me; these are perfect - not to large, I think the 55mm for me at least would be a bit to big to look stylish. They look great, have the classic rayban look, and you look cool without any extra added douchyness (is that a word?) that some sunglasses can cause (looking at your ENTIRE product line, Oakley). Some things that you may not consider buying sunglasses: These are not polarized (at least the pair I bought isn't) - this is good for photographers who use a circular polarizing filter; if you haven't ever tried this, it is not recommended to use with polarized sunglasses, as the light filter gets all wonky and you have to move your head around to be able to see what you are shooting. I'm not a professional photographer but I do use such a filter, and it was annoying as hell on my Smith Serpico's (which are polarized) trying to take a photo with it on. The lens quality is good, especially for this price point. Maui Jim's, well, they are other worldly, but these are still very, very good. It filters out brightness and glare without making everything way to dark, and what I found particularly interesting in the fact that my first pair I didn't take good care of, I would leave them in my laptop bag out of a case, stuff them in a jacked pocket with keys and change in it, and they never even had a hint of a scratch on the lenses. I don't suggest you treat your sunglasses as such, but sometimes it happens, and its good to know that these will stand up to normal wear/tear. I don't really have any cons, if you are a larger guy (or gal) I'd go for the 55 or 58mm size, as these may look a bit too small, but thats not really a con, just a factor you should consider. Good price, excellent quality at this price point (Maui Jim's I mentioned are 2-3x more expensive than these), and they will never, ever go out of style. One other thing I guess just to be thorough, some squarish glasses like these have a tendency to have gaps in coverage from certain angles, i.e. the sun can occasionally make its way through the sides or top of the glasses if its hitting you in a certain way - I've never had that happen with these, so consider that a non-issue.

Stylish, Comfortable, and Classic Ray-Bans
I picked these up specifically for driving with a heads-up display, and they work perfectly. The non-polarized G-15 green lenses provide great clarity without interfering with the HUD visibility, which is exactly what I needed. The rubber black frame feels lightweight and comfortable, even during long drives. They stay in place well and don’t pinch or slide around. The 55 mm size fits my face just right, offering full coverage without looking bulky. I also appreciate how the lenses reduce glare without making the view too dark. These are classic Ray-Bans with a modern twist, and they’re ideal if you want style and function without the complications of polarized lenses. Highly recommend for anyone using in-car tech like HUDs. - TechTrek Globetrotter Exploring the world, one gadget at a time.

Wayfarer II's Rock!
Until Luxotica bought Baush & Lomb's Ray-Ban division I used to sell them in my athletic footwear store. I preferred Ray-Ban over the trendy Oakley (at that time new and hot) because I felt it had quality over flash. Anyway, I always chose to wear aviators such as The Outdoorsman. The original Wayfarers we had in stock always seemed to not quite fit my face as it is just a bit slender. They felt large and the angle of the lens hit my upper cheeks. These are the newer version of the Wayfarer and they do not nearly as big or as angled a lens as the original. In fact, these are definitely small and they likely will not fit just any man. You will need to be built with a slightly slender face, I think, for best results. That said, these fit me like an extremely tailored suit. There's no room to spare, but thankfully they are almost as if custom for me and as such never move around or slide. With a fit this close one might worry about fatigue from simply something gently pressing around one's ears...No problem here as they're comfortable, at least on my face, for hours. These are excellent values at the Amazon fulfilled pricing of right at $70. The frames are Italian-made (Italy and Japan compete it would seem for highest quality eyewear frames) with understated a beautiful dark tortoise acetate which is subtle and classy. These are fitted with the G-15 lens and they're probably Ray-Ban's most sold lens for good reason. The G-15 lens is a grey-based tinted lens that really provides adequate shade for bright light while it allows true color through while doing so. While not the kind of lens one will likely use on heavy overcast days while driving this is the Swiss Army knife lens sort of speak as it does more things right for more uses than most any other lens. The G-15 lens, along with the original Ray-Ban green tinted lens (supplied to troops like my father in World War II) have stood the test of time, even with higher and higher technology these lens are "so right" they just keep selling year after year. Try them and I think you'll understand why. I will mention that my wife has a larger lensed Ray-Ban Wayfarer II pair with polarized lens that she bought from the Hut branded place in Nashville. She paid almost $200 with taxes. They are actually enough too big for me that I prefer the smaller frame, but the polarized lens are extremely nice. They're usable in much lower light like on heavy overcast days as they just don't eliminate the shear amount of light that the G-15' lens do. Are they worth $200? Not to me...I really believe if they were around no more than $10 to $20-dollars more I'd consider buying a pair of these smaller Wayfarer II's with the polarized lens, but they seem to somewhere around $40 to 50-dollars more which I just do not believe is a fair value as it doesn't cost that much additional money to produce a polarized lens. I am very happy to stick with these smaller Wayfarer II glasses with G-15 lens as they're very high quality at an extremely nice price. So, why didn't I give these 5-stars? Well, with this smaller pair I have one wish only and that is the height of the lens is just a slight bit more shallow (less) than I would really like. This is a small thing as if the lens were too tall in height the chance of pressure to the cheek bones could creep in. But, I really believe just a small increase in the actual height of the lens would make my almost perfectly tailored sunglasses even better. This is just my opinion, but as I think I already made clear these will be too small for even some medium faces and pretty much definitely too small for outright large and round faces. If you have a slender face and have found Ray-Ban original Wayfarers to look a bit comical on you then try these smaller Wayfarer II's. I really am enjoying mine and the price/quality ration here on Amazon seals the deal.

The reults are IN!
REAL OR FAKE: Here it is...an up to date review on the authenticity of these glasses. I purchased the matte havana frames with the blue/green polarized lens. I read all of the reviews (well, all the 1 stars and quite a few 5's), got a little scared that I was wasting my time purchasing fake Ray Bans and decided that since I had Prime I could always take them back for free. I just received mine in the mail and they came in the silver box, inside a black Ray Ban case with the micro fibre cloth and a little booklet. I checked all of the ways online on how to check if you have bought a fakes or not, so I quickly put my new pair to the test. They passed my own inspection with flying colors (notice the pun, and the day this was written, tehehe). Anyway, I was 99% sure that the lenses were actually polarized, that they were genuine in every sense of the word, but since this was my first pair I decided to take it to a local merchant that is also a certified Ray Ban seller (along with many other brands). I compared first myself with the other new wayfarer's in their store, and I found that my pair was actually more sturdy and elegant. This might have been because the models I looked at were on the show floor, but mine seemed heavier slightly, more tight and just nicer. Then I used their polarized display and sure enough the lenses passed the test perfectly. So I handed the pair over to the specialist and let them inspect it. Guess what? It was 100% genuine RayBan's. Then they asked why I was here not buying from them...this is the fun part. I told them I bought these on Amazon for $28 including overnight shipping. How's that, you ask?!!?! Well, as of right now this exact pair just dropped in price by $7 since yesterday when I bought them. So at $85 (my purchase price) plus tax and shipping it came out to $98. I didn't have time to spend the $98 so I applied for Amazons credit card and once approved got $70 instantly credited to my account...then I bought these. It's true and quite beautiful, now that I know that I know that I know they are REAL. I did make sure that the pair I selected were sold only from and shipped from Amazon LLC. I also would note that it could be hit or miss with the authenticity of your pair you purchase but hopefully you can be rest assured that at least some of the pairs sold are legit. These are nice. I mean really nice. They fit perfectly, feel very sturdy, look amazing, match to the "t" other genuine Ray Bans and these don't sweet or make cracking noises or whatever. Actually, in the store with real Ray Bans the plastic pair of wayfarer's actually did make a little bit of noise. They were full price and I felt really smug for beating the system. You can too, but my advice is to have prime in order to have free returns in case you aren't as fortunate. I'm also tempted to get a second pair since it's so cheap right now...hmmmm...yes. Hope this helps! LAST THING: check my pics, this is the case and the glasses. You can even see the etching in the lense on the right lense in the pic. You're welcome.

Authentic, stylish and great price! Shipped & sold by Amazon (55mm. Black Frame/Green G-15XLT Lens)
Great looking sunglasses! I'm 5"5' (165 cm.) and they fit me perfectly. The sunglasses' arms seems to give a squeaky noise when you first fold them a couple of times. It eventually went away after a week of use. The first thing I did when I got them was to check if the Ray-ban sunglasses are authentic and they are! The cardboard Ray-ban box has a little bit of crumple on the side where you open the box though. Mine has the "RB" marking on the outer side of the right lens. The marking is located around the middle right edge of the right lens. The sunglasses also have the usual Ray-ban logo on both sides of temple arms, the white logo on the upper left edge of the left lens, and the metal bar inside the arms (For the black frame, you can check it by looking at the end of the folded arms.) The leather case that came with it is also authentic (I have another Ray-ban case that was from an aviator sunglasses & it looked just like it.) It has the Ray-ban logo on the button, the cracks & feel of the leather is genuine, and the gold stamp has the smaller letters, the stars, and the registered trademark symbol thinly written on it (A fake stamp has bold/thick lines.) For some reason, the picture of the leather case for the Black Frame/Green G-15XLT Lens sunglasses that Amazon used is fake. So you can use that picture to compare the fake case from the real case. Overall these are great sunglasses that are classy, stylish and it comes with a great price! I highly recommend buying them!
