I knew from the moment I saw it that this was the perfect necklace for my mom's birthday. I knew that if my dad were still alive, he would have wanted to give her an opal necklace as beautiful as this, and I have to thank you for making such a lovely lab-created opal necklace for such an affordable price to help make it possible. She truly loved it! (her eyes even misted up) and it looks beautiful on her!This necklace has a sterling silver box-chain that measures 18 inches and has a spring-ring clasp. The pendant is beautifully polished and is also is sterling silver. The 1.5 carat lab-created pear-shaped opal has an open back, and the stone shows off different colors in every kind of light. Some light types show off more blues and greens, other types show more of the the pinks and golds - but as long as there's enough light to reflect, it SHINES.It came in a nice gift box that was stylish ( though, I chose to put a black velvet insert in it to show off the stone better). When she tried it on, it came to about her collar bone (she's very thin). The pendant is about 3/4 an inch long, and has a very elegant look and feel. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! This may not be a real opal, and I've searched for the best pear design and I caved to get this and SO happy!! Its sparkly, bright, shiny.. Divine. NOTE: I am wearing a separate chain, elsewhere purchased on Amazon. The chain it comes with is weak, dull and grey in color, it does not shine like this box chain I got elsewhere on amazonVery satisfied

My boyfriend surprised me with this beautiful necklace, the opal is so pretty and I love the intricacy of the metal design holding the stone. The chain is a higher quality chain and I love that it's not too long it lays nicely. I am in love with it I haven't taken it off since :) great gift for any opal lover!

I wanted a necklace that was pretty but not too expensive incase I lost it at work or somewhere. I get compliments on this necklace all the time & it’s not a crazy expensive one!

This pendant is beautiful in person. It's a good size and is clearly visible when I wear it on a chain. I didn't believe I could get such a sparkly opal (my birthstone) for such an affordable price, but I am quite happy with my purchase and I look for opportunities to wear it with something to bring out the sparkle.

i bought this for my mom it looks very nice bought when it arrived it was sooooo much smaller than i expected but that was my fault for not paying attention.
