Worked perfectly right out of the box. I especially like the seamless integration with the charging schedule set up on the RAV4 (to charge during off-peak time); awaiting charging time, the display indicates that it is awaiting the charge signal from the car. Charges the RAV4 from zero to 40 miles in about 2.5 hours.

So far, this has been well worth the investment. My level 1 charger took almost 3 hours to charge my small battery. This 16/32A charger gets the job done in about 30 minutes on 32A setting. Haven’t yet tried the 16A setting. But, with a 40A circuit, the charger doesn’t even get warm. It just does its thing And does it well. The display is easy to read as well. So far, this charger meets all of my needs and was relatively inexpensive compared to other options. My only gripe is that the connection to the car is tighter than the level 1 charger. Other than that, it works perfectly!

Excellent product, easy to use. Have not had any issues. The only critique I have is that the product is recommended for use in dry areas only. We charge our EV outdoors, so making the charger more wet weather proof would be great.

If you want your electrician to mount the receptacle outdoors, the size of the rubber jacket on the plug will impact on the weatherproof cover for the box. The good news is: this unit doesn't come with the massive plug jacket as shown in the product pictures.

I just received this yesterday. It shows in the picture that there is a button to switch between 16 amp and 32 amp but that is not there I was very disappointed about it. Although I charged my car last night and it didn't quite get up to 32 amp but it did the job. So far I think this will be fine I only have my car until August since my other charger stopped working after two and a half years. years .I am updating my review I've had thus product for two months only and it keeps over heating and trips my 50 amp breaker !This company harassed me by email to change my rating now I am changing it to one star because I feel that is what they deserve.They swindled me out of money to give me a charger that is not even ul-listed and I'm left with the charger that I can't even use because all it does is overheats and trips my breaker. They will not give me a refund or replace this item.

After using the EVSE for 6 months, summer has arrived in TX. The warmer temperatures revealed a problem with this particular charger overheating and re-setting itself during the charging process. I contacted Morec via email. They asked me if I could send pictures or videos of the malfunctioning equipment, which I did. The next day, They began the process to sent me a complete replacement device. It arrived on time (about a week) and without further charge. More importantly, it functions perfectly, well within its operating temperature range in a hot (normal for TX) garage. Excellent device, excellent customer service! I would buy it again. They said the motherboard was overheating, probably due to a short or wiring issue.The device monitors its own internal temperature and has a fail safe switch I assume, hence the reset I was experiencing.

If you need a charger for an electric car this is the best one for a level two because it's very simple and it allows you to select the amperage that's right for your home electrical charging station. Also keeping this charger in your electric car allows you options for charging at friends homes and because it has the 16/32 amp switching capability again it's the best cable and charging system you can buy. Because the cable is so simple,, I haven't need to use your customer service yet but I'm sure it's great. I've done a lot of research this is the one you should buy for your electric car. Have a great life focus on the positive be happy help our planet.

So far it works great. The only minor flaw it has is that that you can't see the monitor when it's plugged in. The monitor faces the same direction as the plus so when you plug it into the wall the monitor faces the wall also. Not a big issue but they need to design it so it will face the opposite direction as the plug. Other than that it works great! I'm able to charge my 2020 pacifica in about 3.5 hours compared to 14 hours with the 120v charger. Highly recommend this product especially since it was a lot cheaper than other products.
