This stuff is so fancy!!!! You can see actual fish chunks in their skin. I’m fostering a cat and this is all he’ll eat now after we were donated it now I have to keep buying it because he won’t eat the other wet cat food I was buying him before. 🤣 totes recommend!!

PINK color can food
Our cat LOVED this food. Wish it was more affordable. We did notice that he had a bit of upset stomach after.

Fantastic grain-free and carrageenan-free wet food!
Both my cats absolutely love this food (and all the flavors of Cats in the Kitchen that I've tried). I've been feeding it for about 6 months, along with Wellness Core grain-free dry food. (Before that they were eating EVO wet and dry food, but I had concerns over the fact that EVO had been bought by Proctor and Gamble, who have a history of ruining good pet food brands once they take over.) I did a lot of research to find a wet food that was both grain free and carrageenan free (carrageenan is a bulking agent that has been linked to GI issues.) All the Cats in the Kitchen flavors are both grain- and carrageenan-free, with no animal byproducts. The food looks and smells very high quality (does not have a strong smell), and although most of the food is shredded meat or pate consistency, you can see some chunks of seafood in the seafood flavors. I haven't had any issues at all with stomach upset. I've noticed that my overweight 9-year-old cat has lost a few pounds since switching their food and is much more energetic and playful. It's definitely a bit pricey, but in this case you get what you pay for.

This particular "The Kitchen, Kitty Gone Wild" flavor has turned into a favorite of our 4 cats!
For those of us who have purchased Weruva brand canned cat food, you've no doubt come to realize that there are a wealth of flavor options, all under different "catchy" flavor names such as this "The Kitchen, Kitty Gone Wild" flavor. Sometimes it can become quite confusing, especially if you're in the process of trying to find a particular flavor that your cats will enjoy and gravitate to.For most of the available Weruva flavors, my cats just didn't care for them. We have 4 indoor (formerly feral) cats that have become quite spoiled, and finding the right mix of flavors for them has become a tiring effort, to say the least. However, there is one flavor that my cats go bonkers over, and that is Weruva's "Mideast Feast" (look it up), which our 4 felines enthusiastically inhale, and that food doesn't last long in their cat bowls. Another Weruva flavor that they've really taken a liking to is this "The Kitchen, Kitty Gone Wild" blend. When I first served them that Kitty Gone Wild flavor, they seemingly didn't take to it. But what I did then is prior to serving them this flavor, I would mash up the food even more because there are large chunks of fish in there. Cutting the fish down into very small pieces and mixing it properly with the gravy, did the trick. My cats - all 4 of 'em - now lick the bowls clean with this flavor. So between Weruva's "Mideast Feast" and this "The Kitchen, Kitty Gone Wild" blend, my cats have found two really good foods that they look forward to.So I'm giving this flavor 5 stars.Keep in mind that nothing is "absolute" when it comes to pet food reviews. Why? Because each animal is different, with varying tastes as much as we humans have. Just because some pets may hate and ignore a particular brand/flavor, this can be offset by other pets who love that flavor. So who's wrong then?Your mileage may vary...

The pink can is a hard no.
So you know what type of cats I am dealing with:One of my 4 cats will gobble anything up, she was a wild (but tame) cat for the first few years of her life, hunting around the property. She became a housecat at about age 5 and she still retains that "eat anything" mentality. She will eat the "Kitty Gone Wild", but she does tend to lick AROUND the obvious fish pieces in the can, which speaks volumes to me since she is a wild girl at heart and will munch on just about everything. (She is 20 years old now, and still doing awesome, which I attribute to a healthy diet) If she is really hungry, which is usually the first meal of the day, she will eat the fish chunks, but usually she leaves it and waits for the other cats to leave their food. The other 3 cats are not picky, they are used to raw food. Although this is not raw food, I got it because I was looking for something additional to give them, to diversify their diet. They like the "Fowl Ball", and all 3 of the Tuna flavors a lot!The problem is with the "Kitty Gone Wild" flavor, that it looks good since it has pieces of fish in it, but it smells horrid. They will stick their nose up at it if they have other food or are not super hungry. So I will not purchase that type again, the smell is absolutely gross and smells spoiled when it is freshly open too, which I cant handle. If it is left out for an hour it smells so bad that I had to light an incense even to go into the kitchen to throw it all away. There is no putting it in a trash can either, unless you take the trash out immediately! I genuinely gagged at the smell but thought maybe the kitties like that -- but no. I am used to raw food too, so this was surprisingly gross to me, its a very hard NO for this type.I am on the fence with this brand because of the terrible smell of the one type. I got 3 cases, so I will mix it in here and there.. but the smell is so bad with "Kitty Gone Wild" that I am hesitant to try other types, even though they seems to like all 3 tuna flavors and the "Fowl Bowl", it is not good to give them tuna all the time.... So, I doubt I will invest in more of this brand, but it was worth a try.Werva, please fix this so that its palatable to the cats that eat everything! You all must know how horrid it smells manufacturing it, and if you do not know - then something must be going wrong down the line, which really makes me leery of this food.Back to the drawing board for me!

Cats love it
The kitties share a can a day and loved it immediately. The size is perfect for a herd of 5 Maine Coons. No adjustment time needed from previous high end brand.
