I decided to use a straight gold post to open the holes up, it was painful but it worked, so now they are going through healing all over again. I put the posts in every morning but there was always some closure overnight, then I remembered the sleepers I used to wear a s a child. I found these sleepers and they are gorgeous, the pattern is lovely and they are strong enough and large enough for an adult, the join is smooth. I put them in and am wearing all the time and turning often, second night in them last night and slept like a log. They were just what I needed, I recommend them to anyone who has healingproblems with their pierced ears, they are also very comfortable to sleep in. I was experiencing some problems with non-healingof my pierced ears, following surgical steel posted stud earrings supplied when my ears were originally pierced, once thesesleepers were inserted I had no further problems. The quality is excellent, they are very dainty (but of strong construction), although some reviews said they were a little small for an adults ears I did not find this problem. Although small, they are exactly what you want for sleeping in as they don't cause your ear to fold over on the pillow. I keep them in all the time unless I am putting on a pair of earrings to go out, as I had a bad habit of taking earrings out and letting the piercings close up. The pattern is on one side, so make sure to put them on the right way around. I have had them for several months and they are lasting well.
