These are great, a good buy. I love making cedar plank salmon, and these work out just right for me. They even fit right into a half sheet baking pan, two or three boards.., forget at the moment but I actually found that pretty helpful.

I've paid much more for exactly the same cedar planks. Soak in water for 1/2 hour and then grill salmon on the bbq. When they catch fire use a spray bottle to control the burn but that's what gives the salmon the cedar smoke flavor. I believe the description said slightly imperfect but since you are going to burn them up anyway...who cares?

Many planks had cracks, some in half.

Description says; Planks "May" have holes or cracks, it should say "ALL" planks "WiLL Have" cracks or holes, why are these even sold, they are only good for starting camp fires with. The picture is of the first two I pulled out, almost all had similar defects, so again.... ALL is the key word for this item, and the word "GRILL" should not be used or if so, USED as follows, if you grill with these planks, your salmon will be burnt or partially turn to charcoal.

These planks are a good value IF you don’t need a large plank and don’t mind the rough imperfect surface. They are noticeably smaller than other planks that I have bought. We use these for cooking fish for two with skin on, so we are concerned about biting into a splinter of wood or running out of space. The planks are not always rectangular in shape as some have small chunks missing. I would rate them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on value, when I bought them but ⭐️⭐️⭐️ due to their second tier quality. And I would hesitate to put anything on them without skin that I intended to remove before eating!

We absolutely love grilling fish on these planks. The flavor and cleanup is great!Pricy, but if you get on sale, not too bad.Montreal Seasoning is the best!

Keep in mind these cedar planks are “seconds”. They are not going to be the same quality as the ones that cost $5 each at retail stores. I eat a lot of fish so I was delighted to find these, they are a lot more economical than the ones sold at my local grocery store. They get the job done and I love saving money!
