somewhat noisier than expected, but good power consumption and lots of space inside
This was delivered with a visual defect in one corner (the packaging was fine, so assume some handling problem at the factory before packing it). Amazon quickly refunded part of of the purchase cost, so decided to keep it. It's a decent product at a good price. No frost, as advertised, and plenty of space. Door had solid hinges and did not break so far under the weight of many bottles. Keep in mind it's a one large door refrigerator, it doesn't have a freezer section. It's my second Hisense product, the other one's still running with no repairs after 7 years, seems like a a good brand to take into consideration when buying appliances. Keep in mind it needs a bit of empty space on the sides (2cm is fine) to dissipate the heat, some external areas on the sides do get warmer.

DO NOT BUY HISENSE
Bought a £350 fridge from the supplier and the damn thing broke/stopped cooling after less than three years. An average lifespan of a fridge is 8-10 years. On top of that, the fridge door started cracking when opened/closed. It will now cost £200 to fix or I have to work out buying a new one and getting rid of this monstrosity DO NOT BUY this brand

Looks much more expensive than it is
We had to replace our American FF (fridge broke but freezer still fine and had to replace whole FF hence deciding on freestanding and side by side!) and Hisense was one of only two manufacturers that made a matching freestanding fridge and freezer. BTW door handles can be swapped to enable opening like American FF. They look sleek and expensive and after my research I was happy I made the correct choice. Apart from fridge and freezer matching and side by side the price point was very reasonable and the space both provided was impressive. I really like the deep drawers in the freezer, called Huge Box, very practical for roasts and hunks of meat. The little built in ice cube feature with tray underneath is also brilliant thinking on the designers’ part. Several temperature settings, quick freeze, alarm bell for door left not closed properly and adjustable feet to set the front of the freezer just a little bit higher up to enable automatic door closing. I can’t fault it to be honest. The fridge on the other hand has a few design flaws that need looking at....again, beautiful sleek look, oodles of space, several temperature settings, quick cool, inside light, alarm bell for door left not closed properly and adjustable feet to set the front of the freezer just a little bit higher up to enable automatic door closing. What bothered me is the “difficult” space left between the shelves and the drawers....too narrow for much use and space so high it feels wasted. I guess one can put 2 lt bottles on it in an upright position on this shelf but to me it feels like it could have been better designed. I would have preferred another drawer there because two just isn’t enough. The other issue is the bottom bit in the door for bottles. When the space is filled with bottles the one at the end keeps falling over when opening the door. Don’t quite know why. One last thing, the light doesn’t work all the time but I guess that is for warranty to sort out and is just unlucky... Anyhow, all over a good purchase. Would recommend.

Nice 'n cold
Good size, you can clearly see what is in the fridge with clear lighting. No more things lurking in the corners as every shelf is easy to see. Salad/vegetable crisper is a good size and the meat draw is a good and handy addition too.

Looks very smart
Seems to be excellent value for money - looks just as good as more expensive models. Time will tell if it uses a lot of electricity
