I got these for a weird reason - I have tattoos which causes my smartwatch to have trouble reading my heart rate. Many people online suggested these epoxy stickers to put over the sensor, which allowed it to work for them. I was skeptical, but it seems to work!

I'm someone with tattoos on the tops of my wrists, where you would wear a smart watch. For me that happens to be an apple watch but I've also heard this hack works with samsung smart watches. If your tattoo makes it so your watch doesn't stay unlocked while ontop of the tattoo, doesn't read your heart rate, doesn't wake when you raise your wrist then use one of these stickers. You place the sticker on the sensor. Make sure you wipe the sensor very clean before you add the sticker, I used sterile alcohol wipes for wound cleaning to wipe the sensor completely clean. I can now wear my apple watch (gen 7 for what that's worth) on my tattoo. The only thing it won't fix is ECG readings but that's because the watch needs to make full contact with the skin for electrical signals, which the sticker will block. I'd say it's a worthwhile tradeoff!My tattoos are dark black ink right ontop of the veins that watch sensors typicall shine their light through.

My old galaxy watch 2 kicked the bucket and i got the newest galaxy 5, but realized i wasn't getting any notifications and the watch couldn't sense that i was wearing it because both of my wrists have tattoos on them. Stuck one on the back and now it works properly, it doesnt make the watch uncomfortable and cannot notice it. Only downside is you need to take it off to charge but they come off easily and stick easily back on.

I got these because I have tattoos and my GW4 sensor doesn't detect when it's on my body to give notifications. I read that these would fix that (within reason, of course).They arrived quickly and seemed to be of good quality despite cheap packaging. I quickly tore it open and slapped one on the back of my watch.Sure enough, I recieved my notifications. You have to remove it for a few functions, but I don't need those on all the time.I have no idea what these things are actually for, but I would and most likely will buy again.
