Best toothpaste for my pup
My dog loves this toothpaste! I tried another brand on him because it was less expensive, but he didn’t like it. So, went back to the same toothpaste I’d been using for my pup.

PROS and CONS and EDIT
I found Oratene gel better and easier to use. My dog really could use a cleaning, but because of age and potential health probs, I don't feel comfortable having him knocked out to do a cleaning. This wasn't bad, I just like Oratene better, both their gel for infection (which I used first) and then the one for maintenance.PROS:TASTE - I am going from my dog's opinion here. While he certainly isn't thrilled having his teeth brushed, doesn't seem to mind the taste.SCENT - I like the scent and thinks it does improve his breath.EFFECTIVE - My dog is nine yrs old and up until about a year ago, no real probs, little tartar. I was using a spray for his teeth, which seemed to help, but sometimes I would forget to use it. Then all of a sudden, I noticed his teeth were getting yucky. This toothpaste DOES seem to help remove some of the gunk on his back teeth (where the real prob is)EASE OF USE - I just put a little bit on a soft toddler-size toothbrush (or you could use one of those fingertip scrubby caps). I like it's a gel and a little goes a long way. It also doesn't upset his tummy. Right now, the easiest way to use if I put some on my finger, than take a paper towel and rub. It's hard when you have a smaller dog and they have small mouths!COST - I got while it is under $5 and I only have to buy maybe every two months, and I am brushing his teeth every day.CONS: Really none so far, but I shall update if anything changes.

Best dog toothpaste ever!!!
My dogs use to loathe getting their teeth brushed, but with this tooth paste they both run to the bathroom every time I go in there! Have seen noticeable improvements to their teeth, the were like a yellowish brown color, now they are white with just a small amount of yellowing after only a few weeks of usage. Would 10 out of 10 recommend for anyone with dogs!!!!

The toothpaste DOES work, but it takes time
I went to the vet to get a quote to clean my dogs teeth. I have a female and a male. The female I was quoted about $280 and the male $252 (don't know why the price difference cause they are the same breed), but anyway, that was the price I was given, so I started looking into a toothpaste that could remove the tartar.A lot of people that have dogs have told me "No, that doesn't work, once they have tartar the vet has to remove it, you cannot remove it at home". Well, I am hard headed and decided to buy this toothpaste. I purchased the toothpaste back in October 2020 and quickly I started rubbing toothpaste on my dog's teeth everyday, not really cleaning then, just using my finger and rubbing the gel on each tooth that had heavy tartar, including the ones in the back (molars) that are hard to reach because my dogs are kinda small, so the smaller the mouth, the harder it is to clean them.About 2 months ago I purchased 10 finger brushes (ASIN B07NYB6DND) and I started performing a better cleaning. Yesterday 02/13/2021 I noticed a little gap between the gum and the tartar and I happened to get my nail in between and without a lot of pressure I pushed down and the tartar came off. I decided to do the same with the molars and the tartar also came off. I then continued to my other dog (the female), did the same thing, and I was able to also remove the tartar all around. I was very happy, cause I did not think the time I have spent rubbing toothpaste everyday will pay off. I do not have to spend over $500, because now their teeth are clean, I just have to maintain them now :0)The toothpaste does work, but it will not remove the tartar in a week, or two weeks, probably not in a month, it might take 4 to 5 months, and it does take time and patience.Hope this review helps youThanks

Virbac CET Enzymatic Toothpaste is better
Nope, Virbac CET Enzymatic Toothpaste is better. This one is clear and more liquid imo. It's cheaper that Virbac but not worth it. Dogs ok with the taste of this one but preferer the other.

We went from "No Way" to "Gimmee more"
Near as we can tell, it helps: teeth ARE whiter, less plaque, we think, no way to tell accurately . . the amazing thing is we went from "Don't touch me there" to laying flat out and lifting his head to get more goodies . . even when Mom walks back into the bathroom to get more for the other side . . she uses a rag instead of a tooth brush 'cause she can feel the tarter when she rubs it, and gets a sense of where the "bad" spots are . . . .
