Much better than the OEM antenna.
Replacement for the OEM antenna on my 2024 F250, perfect fit, looks much better than the OEM. Though shorter, it hasn't affected the radio reception in any adverse way.. I definitely recall this product.

Yes! 16" antenna is a must
I installed a aftermarket head unit along with a 6" stubby antenna a while ago. My reception was horrible. I could literally pick up two local stations. When first installed, I figured no big deal because I'll just listen to Bluetooth. I live in a small town along the coast of Southeast Georgia. I realized quickly that I missed local radio stations over Bluetooth because it's how I kept up with events around town. With my factory head unit and factory antenna, I could get stations from Jacksonville FL and also hear about events in that area.So I decided to go back to a larger antenna and a antenna amplifier that is installed behind the head unit. I went with the 16" version and I'm so happy I did. It still looks a hundred times better than the factory antenna and I have radio. I'm actually getting better reception with this 16" and antenna amplifier than what I was all factory. I'm getting local stations for St Augustine Fl while I'm in Southeast Georgia. Factory would only get me to Jacksonville FL. I will never go with a stubby antenna again.

Love the height. Receptions not bad
So, I have SiriusXM and other media players so local stations are not that important to me. That said, I tune in a station that was statically and had it turned on while I took the other antenna off. As soon as it was unscrewed I lost all reception. as soon as I put this antenna back on the jeep, reception came back, although slightly weaker than it was with the stock antenna. All in all, it looks good and works fair.

Great fit and looks good!
This is a classic update to make your new truck look more sporty/aggressive. It’s a 30 second install that is also super practical for preventing issues while going through a carwash.

This is the second one I bought!
I pay a monthly fee for unlimited car washes and I take my truck through 2 -3 times per week. The car wash attendant stopped me one day and said I had to change my antenna because the original equipment antenna could damage their equipment or get snagged and damage my fender. I ended up on Amazon and purchased this antenna. Easy installation, good reception - I couldn't tell any difference between the old one and this new one. I was happy...until a few days later when my antenna disappeared. Not sure where it went. May have been a roving gang of antenna thieves or maybe it was the car wash. Either way I had to buy another one. I thought maybe I had not tightened the first one enough so I installed the second one and this time I put red Loc-tite on it just to make sure it wouldn't come off easily. I checked each time I went through the car wash to make sure it was still attached. After a couple of months it disappeared again, this time while I was in the car wash. I didn't have time to stop and wasn't going to shut down a busy car wash to find a cheap antenna so I went about my way. When I got home I noticed the base of the antenna was still screwed in...so the loc-tite did the job. My best guess is these cheap antennas just can't stand up to frequent car washes. The top rubber part just came off of the base. So I turned my radio off and haven't listened to it in over a year now.

It is so easy to install.
It went on super easy in about one minute. I did use a pliers with a cloth towel to tighten it but hand tight should be good enough.
