The Maple Tapper Blue Sap Sack collection bags come in a set of 12 and are the official replacement bags of Sap Sak Maple Tapping collection method. Each bag measures a large 12” wide by 24” long and can hold up to 2 gallons of sap before needing to be emptied. The sturdy plastic food grade quality bags are tough and durable and with proper use and care they could last for several seasons. The tinted color helps protect against the Sun’s UV rays as well as providing just enough color to help thaw out those frozen bags. As an added benefit this type of maple tapping collection, the Sap Sack, keeps dirt and contaminates out of your sap better than other bucket type systems. These bags must be used with Sap Sak metal frames, which are not included in this kit.
