Lodge Manufacturing L4LP3 Loaf Bread Pan 2 Pack

I have used these many times to make sour dough loaves. I stack one on top of the other and use clips to keep them in place. Acts like a Dutch oven, but loaf sized. Then remove the top one to brown once the loaf is cooked. Easy to clean, and great results each time. Bread on the left was using traditional bread pan and the one on the right was using these cast iron pans.

If you're not use to baking bread with cast iron pans, it does take a little time to get use to the proper way to wash, season, and bake. But, once you've got the process down pat, I don't think you'll go back to using glass or metal. I make bread 2 or 3 times a week and am thrilled with these pans.

Love this cast iron loaf pan. Banana Bread was baked evenly, came out clean, and looks beautiful. I did use Bakers Joy non-stick spray, and I placed the pan in the oven as it was preheating (because it’s what my mother always did).... Absolutely recommend.

I was looking for a bread pan that wouldn't need to be replaced in a few years!! I'm quite certain these won't disappoint! I was wondering how I would like the size of this pan since it's smaller than my other bread pans. But it's turning out to be the perfect size for my needs. The only thing to think about, is that if you are doing several batches one after the other, these take a long time to cool down. So I purchased another set so that one is cooling down while the other is rising. No regrets here!

I was buying a two pack and i only recieved one and have sent two emails. I am very unhappy. I would not have paid $32 for one pan

The pans themselves are great - heavy duty, and the dimensions make a nice tall loaf with a standard loaf pan recipe. Note that due to reduced heat transfer issues through the thick pan you will likely have to add 10 minutes to standard recipes.The factory seasoning is garbage. I baked a loaf of bread, let it cool overnight, turned it out the next afternoon and the moisture from the bread had already caused a layer of rust on the interior. Granted it's been humid but it's Irritating to have to re-season a brand new pan.

I bought these pans to go with the collection of Lodge cookware I bought for my Daughter. She has just got into baking breads and absolutely loves these cast iron bakers. She now has a pretty good collection of Lodge cast iron and Corelle Visions Amber glass cookware...a perfect kitchen match
