I'm buying this type for all my hoses and tubing applications from now on. Especially for temporary application or testing.

I got tired of looking for a screw driver to tighten the ones that you can buy at hardware stores. The red knobs work great and make them easier to install. Great product. Sturdy, well made.

Cheaply made. Tightening the clamp causes the paddle handle to crack and break off. So far, everyone I have used has broken (7 of 15) and then I need a crescent wrench to tighten the clamp, since the paddle covers a square peg. Regular clamps require a screwdriver or hex driver, which I have. Unfortunately, I cannot return these for a refund.

I purchased these to use on a fuel line for an external generator fuel tank. The red handles have come off on two of the three I've used so far. I superglued them back on and they seem to be holding. However, if the handles had come off while away from my tools this would have made them more difficult to remove than regular hose clamps, defeating the purpose.

These tighten and loosen many times and remain effective. They work on a variety of diameters. I use them to connect and disconnect tubing as a homebrewer and they do the trick. I wouldn't use these for long term gas or liquid lines to a keg though as you want something with a more perfect round seal (and smaller) for those.
