Best device yet for paring it with the ‘Gaming Lens’ and it DOES have 64GB of storage.
My goal is a little different than most and that is to pair this with ‘Gaming Lens’ - a 9” QLED screen/Gamepad device for a low cost cloud gaming system I have developed for sale in Q4. Having tested several other boxes in this category with either the Allwinner H618 or the Rockchip RK3568, I found this unit to meet all of the my needs with 4GB of DDR4 memory, 64GB eMMC storage (See NOTE below), 1525 MHz CPU speed (higher than most), WiFi 6 and BT 5. Some have complained about the barebone launcher, but this can be changed to any launcher you want. In my case, I am using ‘Console Launcher’ (seen in my image). It should also be noted that this is a true AndroidTV ROM (Apollo) unlike some of the H618 boxes using a customized Pixel 3 variant. It seems to have been rooted already and have Google Play Store installed but IT IS NOT CERTIFIED which didn’t create any problems running any of the apps I needed. Even though it is powered by 5 VDC, they chose to use a 2.1mm/5.5 mm power connector, so connecting your Li-ION battery pack with the USB port is not possible, but they do make cables or you can make your own to turn this into a portable unit. I have done so and a 10000 mAH battery source will last for 4-5 hours on a charge. Just make sure it is capable of handling 2 amps. This can also be used in a car with USB ports as well. DO NOT connect to 12VDC!NOTE: It seems that another reviewer has identified this device as not having 64GB of eMMC storage. After downloading several videos from 11GB to 1GB files for a total of 33GB, I can safely say after viewing several of these, that this unit does have 64GB of storage. Now there is the possibility this is set up as both an internal 32GB and external 32GB SDCard like storage, combined by Android; which is reflected in the way PassMark benchmarks reflects the test (Also, shows how much better it performs over an SDCard only storage).

Good price and very nice quality
The quality of the TV box is very good. When it was first used, it took a little time to wait for the upgrade. And It always disconnected during the upgrade process. I was very frustrated. So I contacted with the seller to return the item. Cosycost seller explained to me patiently and promised me that if there are any quality problems in the future, they will provide me the most satisfactory solution. The seller adviced me that use the wirelesscable connection to upgrade for the first time. Maybe there are something wrong about the operation time , which brought me a bad experience, but it's not the quality of the box itself. If I need to download and install the application, I can download it from the browser. After I changed the operation time, everything is normal.

It works, but it COULD be better for $50.
For $50, I'd look elsewhere (unless if you can deal with occasional freeze ups and reboots). The reason why I got this one, is because it was the most purchased one with the best reviews. When I first hooked this box up, it was ready to go. BUT, it is almost impossible to log into your Google account when you first set it up, because it freezes up completely and reboots automatically. It took me four tries before I was able to log in. Also, if you use any intensive programs (like Kodi), expect random freeze ups and reboots too. The reason why I'm leaving four stars, is because it comes with a cool keyboard (which is better than my Roku), and I'm able to use apps like Cinema HD, and BeeTV just fine. Not to mention, it has plenty of RAM and storage. The remote control is a little difficult, but you can get used to it. For $50, I'd recommend getting a box with an Allwinner H616 processor. It's a much better box. But if you have patience, this box might be fine for you.

After product, then procedures...I need a break
It was very easy use lol meaning open, plug in all the cables , add batteries, press power and were off to a good start. As I do all my android devices...I go set up my acct go to the Play Store, pick the few basic well-known apps that I always do and BOOM...It says it’s downloading, ask to open and the apps never open...NOT once. It’ll stall out like blink, even sometime crash or just rerun back to ask you if you want to download. So I gave up and explored the pre installed apps. Couldn’t download absolutely anything...kept asking for my “external storage” even though I purchased 64gb already. Preferences say I have 64gb...but when I open Files to explore this it’s says unavailable and I can only see my usb drive which worked fine. The original remote only works when pointed directly at the box and upclose...as in 3ft. I can see why the keyboard/mouse was a nice added element...but it took place and owned domain to 1 of the only 2 USB slots that’s you do have. The SD slot also worked fine. Once you get all your cables plugged in...being that it is small and light weight the plugs fan out over half the circle. Making it very uneasy to maneuver and it’ll just rotate to the direction of the strongest cables pull. I haven’t once been able to explore the web (which was very slow) without interferences like crashes or being taken back to the Home Screen. I had to use both remotes because the “enter” button on keyboard takes you to the previous page. So this fancy memory card reader didn’t mount up to anything I expected.Side Note: when I went to return it on my app as normal.::for the first time it says to go faster I can get a phone call or a text right now. I’m always up at 1am so I didn’t mind but the conversation was hit or miss. I wasn’t really sure what to take from it, just the refund. I was not able to pick where I wanted to return the items according to my location as I always do. I was told where I had to go. When I asked why, I never got a clear explanation. I asked to go back and finish the return on my app...was told I couldn’t. It also was not the fastest which is why I ended up on the phone call int the first place. Time I spent on the phone, having to wait on the email for the shipping label from that call, then having to go where I was told I have to go. All could have been done on the App within 2 minutes and much better experience. I’m so confuse! Definitely not how I expected my first and ONLY person-to-person contact with a rep from Amazon. I thought I got pranked.
